Stopped in for a quick burger. I find that the DQ burger can either be really good .. or really bad. I'm happy to say this one was on the really good side. This combined with quick friendly service created a nice fast food experience. And even though it was -6 outside, you have to get a blizzard when you visit DQ. ?Parking: It is a small, tight parking lot but there was plenty of street parking available.

Decent place. Good food. Staff is polite. Flamethrower burger is not the least bit spicy so bring ur own hotsauce if u want spicy. They didn't even put japanese on it. Thought it came with them. I think they just didn't put them on itThey don't understand English at all there so u really gotta make sure ur getting what u order. Use your translated app maybe

3 stars for 3 orders that were wrong going through the drive thru. Fries instead of onion rings, twice, 2nd time they fixed my it still came back wrong. Ordered Bacon deluxe cheese burgers, we got cheese burgers. I always check my order at the window, now I have to unwrap my burgers before driving away!

I would say this is the most tasteless burger I have had at a fast food place. Even the fries were poor. This is my second experience with them but in Creston, BC a few years ago. Wow, the same result.

This is funny because there's a heck of a price difference between Dairy Queen in Castlegar and the one in Trail. For example there are specialty bowls you can buy and they are cheaper if you drive 20 km out of town to a bigger city.
Great place, great service, bright and clean. Definitely worth the trip:)

Employees were lovely and the burgers we got were delicious. But the sundaes.... $4.30 for this??? This is a small... If it wasn't so expensive I wouldn't be annoyed. Such a waste of money. Obviously not the workers fault. Dairy Queen needs to work on their pricing. Ridiculous.

The food (by food I mean the blizzards lol) is just as good as I remember years ago before they closed down, now they have reopened and raised the prices drastically. Also if you need to use the washrooms chances are they will be “under maintenance, closed for cleaning” or some other excuse.
