This is the third time I have stopped here in the last years. They have given me constantly good service, reasonable price, generous portions and good food. For mall Chinese Food it is very good. The vegetables were fresh and not over cooked.

Some members of the staff are surprisingly unprofessional. My elderly mother asked simple questions to understand which meat was which, and the young lady was answering in a bizarrely hostile manner. Her tune completely switched up when she began talking to her coworker. I normally don't take the time to leave negative reviews, but this is the second time I've accompanied my mother to this place, and the second time she's been treated like this by the staff. It made her quite depressed, as she couldn't understand why the lady was so mad at her. Very weird interaction.

This was the worst Chinese food we have had The Eastern Wok in cranbrook is amazing This one in Trail is absolutly nasty tastes sour and the chow main is spaghetti noodles not chow main noodles Spring rolls have no pork just cabbage Sweet and sour pork is sour and itâs not sweet and sour DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL
Generous portion sizes. You can feed 3 people for $12. It's funny reading some of the other reviews here. It's Chinese food from a mall -maybe lower your expectations a bit?
The 5 course combo was pretty good. A unexpected line of people, especially compared to the 1 person waiting at the Colon Grinder Express. Cook was constantly refilling the trays. Busy.

Wow. Not a good wow either. We recently moved back to Trail after many years of living up north. We had heard from a few people that we should try the Chinese food in the mall since the Canton restaurant closed. These people also said it was delicious. These people are liars. Honestly, that had to be the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. I get that it is in a mall and my expectations shouldnât be high. However, the mall where we lived also had Chinese food, and it was excellent and they sold out every night. Their sauces actually cover their foods. The food at this place looks like all the same breaded deep fried pork but with different sauces on it. And hardly any sauce! The rest of the food was tasteless, and absolutely disgusting. If people around here, think that that is good Chinese food, they have obviously never left Trail in their entire lives. I will never ever have that Mall Chinese food ever again. Soooo gross! If I was ever allergic to anything, itâd be that place. I was even grossed out watching them fill our containers but thought maybe it tasted better than it looked. Nope. That is all.
This place has been classic awesome for at least 30 years. A hefty amount, for a reasonable price, with tasty flavours. Enough options for most people. I'm grateful for their consistent reliability.

Generic, small town mall Chinese food like no other. If you canât afford a vacation this year, let yourself be transported to mysterious eastern lands with a five item combo of indistinguishable fried things crammed into a box.Treat your senses to the exotic aromas of breaded, fried meats in sweet, vinegary sauce, as well several other kinds of breaded, fried meats in very slightly different sweet, vinegary sauce. There are also noodles. For the truly adventurous, thereâs always the option take your culinary journey a step further and spice things up with what appear to be small bags of Tabasco sauce. The food definitely gives the undeniable impression that the cooks here have met someone who knows a Chinese person, or that they have at the very least seen a map of China at one point in their lives.
Love this place, I moved away almost 7 years ago and always come here when I come to visit family. Canât come back to town without getting a 5 dish combo from here. It has tasted the same (very yummy) for as long as I can remember it!
