The menu, while limited in options and sometimes pricey depending on the order, never fails to impress no matter what you decide on. Drinks are incredible here aswell, one of (if not) the best Ceasars in town.

Our first time visiting as the Columbia Steakhouse (had previously visited when the venue was Foxy’s - not a good experience) It was a family meal with a small baby in tow. We asked for a quieter area in the event our grandson was a little squirly (he wasn’t 👍🏼) and so our daughter could breastfeed. Our server was accommodating.
The meal took a little longer than we expected to arrive, though was beautiful when it came. Service was a little slow.
The bathroom did not have a changing table for our grandson, though thankfully enough space on the countertop for the change mat Perhaps something to think about.
It was expensive for Trail, though the food was good.
Kid-friendliness: As in the main review, no change table available in the ladies washroom.

Easily the best Steakhouse between Vancouver and Calgary. The steaks are world class and the service and atmosphere unmatched anywhere in the Kootenays. Prices may appear to be high but if you go to a Keg or any other good steakhouse you will realize that the prices are very competitive. Best place for a dinner date.

They allowed a reservation for 4 people at 7:30. Upon our arrival they immediately tried to rush us. Meals were served at 8:15 and within 5 minutes we were told last call for drinks and desserts. We were literally asked to leave the dining room at 8:50. If they want to be completely closed by 9 pm they should not allow such a late reservation.

Excellent service and food. Great wine and cocktail menu. Outstanding service from my servers Ayla and Julila. The manager Max is Outstanding Professional knowledgeable polite Cares about his guests. New to position the Hotel made a great ? hire. I hope they keep up the high standard they have achieved. I am a retired Hospitality professional up to Senior management position of Hotel and Restaurant General manager former restaurant owner. The is by far the greatest restaurant I have been to since living in the Kootenays. Please consider reservations but remember it is more highly priced then other restaurants in the region. But it is worth it ? I saw some rough reviews before visiting they were very wrong. It is just high end like you would find in Vancouver Edmonton Toronto or USA. Take a chance you will love atmosphere food service.
Columbia Steakhouse has some of the best food. The quality is top notch. I just start thinking about when I can go back and do this again. We have eaten all over and we are blessed to have food this good. Steak and Lobster was so good had the chefs cut and I just can rave enough. Cooked to perfection we will be back as soon as we can.
As always the food was excellent, the service was amazing and the overall experience was fantastic. Love spending our anniversary here. The place a super swanky and prices reflect that, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion ?

Amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere. I had a fabulous dinner with family we all enjoyed the filet minion and I had perfectly done lobster and my daughter had the bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoyed every bite!
The steak dinner was so good tender and cooked to my liking, the mashed potatoes and veggies were so good. The Caesar salad was delicious and the garlic crostini so tasty. We had the jumbo prawns which was a great choice. We'll definitely be back

Steaks were cooked to perfection, even the veggies deserve a mention as they were fighting the steak for 1st place. The wine choices for red were top notch. Dessert !! Don't leave this place without trying the cheese cake or chocolate layer cake as they were both great. Shout out to the Aussie for the great service.
This place is very nice. Great service and food. This is the kind of place you take your date on a romantic dinner. A perfect place to have that some fine cuisine and drinks. Unfortunately I was there with my co worker and not my wife. Really good though, food, service.... would recommend even with a co worker.

Staying at the hotel attached to this restaurant. Ordered a steak. Paid over $50. Get back to my room and no utensils. Go back down to get some - 5 minute argument happens between staff if I can have real ones or plastic. Try cutting a steak with a flimsy plastic knife. Don’t go there!

Exceptional food, atmosphere, and service. The steak and prime rib were perfect. The seasonal vegetables tender & crisp and the mashed potatoes needed nothing extra on them! Perfectly cooked & seasoned meal!
We had a great meal! I expressed my annoyance that the only vegetable they ever serve is carrots.. we pay a premium price and they serve the cheapest vegetable you can buy! Well they listened and gave us broccolini! The service was excellent. Highly recommend!!
