Finally got here. Super delicious! My kid loves it here! Our server, Michelle I think, was very friendly and helpful. Kept my coffee full and didn't bat an eye when mu kid had me order a second pannekoeken. Brought us the box to take it home in after too. Clean restaurant which is always appreciated!

1st off, the service here was amazing!! Fast, attentive, honest, personable, all that good stuff !!2nd...the food was fresh and delicious. The perfect filling breakfast !I do like how refills on pop are free and they come out of a Can!! Not a machine. We will go here again! I'm just sad it took us so long to try it !(For the record...I think our servers name was Izabell? Or something like that)

Last visit 11/28/2023Hot chocolate: loads of whipped cream with chocolate syrup. From powder, but still decent. Could've used milk/ cream. 3 statsDa Boers breakfastHam, sausages, de bacon, eggs, hash brown cubes, with a half sized pannenkoeken Incredibly clean & non greasy. 4.25 starsEggs Benny - Dutch Amsterdam: clean & tasty, but the English muffin is a slight downgrade from the crispier Dutch rusk before (waitress did not offer an option) 3.75 starsStrawberry & whip cream pannenkoek: thicker than a crepe but much thinner and crispier than a pancake. 4.25 stars Not up to the elevated breakfasts of Jam Cafe, Toast To Coast at Steveston, Citizen Cafe in Barcelona, but miles ahead of the greasy spoon brunch chains like Danny's & IHOPOverall 7.9/10, 4 stars

Won't go back again! The food was terrible, sausage like thin slices of pepperoni; potatoes little 1/4" cubes and overdone; the toast was one measly i/2 slice; fruit bowl tiny - whatever happened to the generous servings that I remember from the past? The coffee was OK but nobody asked if I'd like a top up or another cup. The waitress never came back to see if everything was OK. Too bad! IHOP here we come!

Food is fine but very pricey for what you get. Breakfast for 2 cost us $52. We had the usual breakfast food.

I stopped in on my way to the ferry and was warmly greeted at the door by Isabel. I was pleasantly surprised that they had gluten free pancake options for me and it didn't disappoint. The service I received from Isabel was wonderful, she was cheerful, funny and attentive. I would recommend stopping by.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

I can't comment on the food as I never got sat. But we waited over 10 minutes at the front- looking around the corner and waving at a few waitresses to get their attention to be seated. For no one to come. 2 other families left before we did because they also weren't being sat. More than half the restaurant was empty. If you don't have someone seating people, you should make it a sit where you'd like the situation, not having people stand there for 10 minutes

Not the typical experience you get at a de Dutch. It's possible that they may be short staffed. The men's washroom had water all over the floor and was missing paper towels and very dirty. The food took over 50 min to arrive.
