Lordy, what a shame! The establishment is lovely but the care and attention is low. Half hearted effort by staff and evident by the state of cleanliness. Grime in every side and corner. Tables and floor sticky (I know, fish n chip place, grease is a thing) but elbow is also a thing.
My belly is currently rebellious. Hope they improve, would be a fantastic spot. Oh, one shining light, the coleslaw was wonderful!

Decent food at a good price

Had the haddock and fries .. we were in shortly after they opened , and the fish looked very dark. I was hoping a crisp light batter , but the fish seems to be good. I am not chef, but feels like the oil has been used for a while.

Updated review- just as good! Food was very fresh and perfectly cooked. My kids who don't usually like calamari ate the whole plate.
First time dining here after a shopping trip across the street. Delicious food! The halibut was so good and tasted perfect 👌
Calamari and Crab Jalepeño bites were delicious as well. Will definitely be back!
Service was good as well, the staff were all friendly and helpful!

They have all you can eat Fish and Chip every Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday (I think Monday for sure anyway3x a week). Fish are very fresh and the way they cook potatoes is so good also. Too bad not as busy as should be consider it is a very big and nice place. We were there twice already within less than a month. Hope lots of people will come . Very reasonable price. Or you can mix like onion ring, calamari and fish than you can try all. This way the mixing ones I fully recommended.

Had the 2 piece Haddock + mushy peas. Fries were fresh & fish was lightly battered & flaky. Good portion & price was right, 20.95 for 2 piece & fries. I'm not an expert on peas but certainly enjoyed them. Will be back the next time a craving hits & as a Ladner resident it's nice not to have to go to Steveston, thanks to the light battering which isn't easy to find around these parts

Visited Harry’s Fish & Chips during my lunch break with high expectations, being a big fan of traditional London-style fish and chips and traveling from Britain.
The place is spacious with a nice ambiance, but cleanliness was disappointing. Only a few tables were occupied, yet the sofa seating area was quite dirty — definitely room for improvement in cleanliness.
Waiting time was fine, but the food quality didn’t meet expectations. The fish was a bit greasy, which made me wonder if the oil temperature wasn’t properly maintained or exceeded TPM standards. Unfortunately, the taste was below average and not enjoyable.
Expected better flavor and quality — overall, a disappointing experience.

6 piece Halibut Combo and 3 orders of battered mushrooms, which were to die for. Fish portions were huge! Will be back again.

Harry’s Fish & Chips is hands down one of the best chippies I’ve been to. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Chips were golden, generous in portion, and not greasy at all. Staff were super friendly and the service was quick, even during a busy time. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Will definitely be back!

Management needs training in customer service. Coming from a manager myself at a local establishment. There is more to be desired here.
