Pub food and much more.
I had the veal cutlets topped with the most delicious mushroom gravy. My husband had the shrimp and crab fettuccine. The garlic and parmesan sauce was excellent. Large portions left no room for dessert.
We watched the Jays on the big screen TV. They lost to the White Sox.
Lots of great beer including some from a local brewery.
For a place that's been around for a while it seems like they're still figuring everything out. Prices we comparable to eating at the keg but getting the quality of food and service as if you were at a Dennys.
Got the chicken parm, unfortunately it was not great. The cheese was very thick and just slid off the chicken cutlet. Sides were grand. $25 for the parm is expensive given the quality of it in my opinion.
Wow. Just Wow? And NOT in a good way! We had to seat ourselves while trying to find a clean table. A challenge in itself. It was pretty busy for a weekday, Blue Jays playing I guess. From what I could see, only two Servers working the floor. They were doing pretty good but sure could have used some help. The menu looked quite extensive but holy- moly, talk about expensive. $6.00 for a glass of pop and no refill offered. I ordered the chicken cordon blue burger and it was so-so at best. Kinda greasy and bland. The fries were ok but a man cannot live on fries alone. A lasagna and Caesar salad was also ordered. Very disappointing also. The salad had very little dressing with barely a hint of garlic, the lasagna was also runny with no tangy taste and the garlic toast was basically burnt. Probably the worst Pub experience meals I encountered. Not worth $60.00. Gotta say, a Momma burger from A&W next door would have been better.
…..It’s been a few days and WOW! I just read the owner’s response. The response was just as lame as the Pub was.
…..a small update again. I’ve been reading other reviews and it appears that the responses from the Owner on reviews has been very negative with nothing but excuses, lame reasons and fake apologies. They continue to say thanks for the review and we will do better. I find it hard to believe as their lip service has been going on for years. Again, go to A&W!
Way overpriced for what you get, I’m not sure if it’s the same If you are eating on the pub, I did a takeout order. Probably won’t Grab takeout from them again.
Food was ok, I had the veal cutlets and my partner had a steak that we accompanied with a glass of red wine. Both meals were well cooked with substantial portions. Service was a little slow but I think that was due to it being unexpectedly busy for which they apologised.
Just sad. I ordered wing and dry garlic ribs. Both overcooked to the point that they were so dry they crumbled into dust. Unfortunately it was a takeout order as we were traveling through or else I would have sent them back. I’ll go to A & W next time. Not much better but at least I expect crap from there.
We ate light after a day of travel. The pub was so busy! Servers Taleigha and Katelyn were flying around getting everyone looked after. Kitchen worked hard to get wonderful food out to guests. Great little place, great food.
Stopped in for a quick bite. I was impressed with the quick hello and smile!
Food was definitely 👌 😋

A little on the spendy side,... but then again, this is Valemont . Slow season, not a great beer selection

This is a cool little spot in Valemount. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Just wish it was open a little longer than 9pm.
