An amazing family-owned restaurant. Great food, and all clearly made to order. Its a small town diner, so dont expect fast service (the owner is usually cooking the food and serving/bussing), but the conversations are great, and the food excellent! The nacho fries are killer.
Highly recommend in spite of difficulty’s- when you own a business and customer is disappointed and you go above and beyond to make it right - that earns you five stars in my opinion. Young people often need a lot of training in how to give customer service - anyone can easily be trained to cook and Clean etc - but serving the customer is a special knack and is what brings people back.
Disappointing Experience
We were the only table being served, yet the wait was long and one of the two drinks we ordered was never brought to us. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict had no flavor at all. Kids’ corner looked neglected and uninviting. It feels like the place relies too much on being the only café on the island. We'll be making breakfast at home for the rest of our stay.
