Had New Years dinner there. Great meal, good portion of prime rib and the fixings.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I saw a couple dining with their dog on the patio. So, our family with our dog also sat on the patio to order. We ordered and after 5 minutes another server came out and said dogs weren't allowed there and we had to move to the outermost tables. I asked why the other table with a dog was allowed, and she actually said she hadn't noticed, which was ridiculous because the couple there had almost finished eating, how could she not see?

So we were moved to a spot where we were nearly roasted, quickly finished our meal, and wanted to leave the scorching area. No one came to ask us how everything was or brought the bill. In frustration, I went inside to find a server to pay. She said she'd be right there, and finally came about ten minutes later.

And that couple were still there with their dog whole time, the dog was even running around! No server said anything?‍♀️

I could understand if there were no signs prohibiting dogs on the outdoor terrace, but being treated differently was disgusting.

Food & drinks: Had 2 of the pizza's in the resturant at the Inn and really enjoyed them with my family. There is also a quaint bar at the Inn.

We come to Texada from the states every year and we always love coming here. The owners over the years have been amazing, food is always good and hot... and there is plenty of cold beer (and sports on the TVs). What more could you ask for on this little piece of island heaven?

Friendly, efficient service and delicious food on a pleasant patio. The local ling cod with curly fries was outstanding. Will definitely come back next time we anchor in Sturt Bay. Congratulations to the new owners on starting out on the right foot.

Vegetarian options: Offered veggie burgers (not made in house) but were out of advertised Beyond Beef burgers.

Kid-friendliness: Had a bubble machine on the patio for kids - so much fun!

Had a great couple apples, the stuff was friendly and was able to help me get in touch with someone to get gas as I wasn't going to make it to the ferry. Would absolutley go back

My family and I anchored in Sturt Bay and made the 15 minute walk to the pub from the public dock. We didn’t know that they were closing just as we walked in however they stayed open just to serve us dinner. They are amazing, welcoming, and happy people. The food was great! I highly recommend getting the curly fries but honestly everything we got was just perfect. They also have a gift shop when you walk in that is unique and very reasonably priced, everything is hand crafted by local artist as well so it made it that much more special because the items are one of a kind just like this restaurant. This place is truly a rarity in today’s world with their friendliness and family vibe. If you have the chance to go there you will not be disappointed.
