I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the McDonald’s location in Vanderhoof. On my recent visit, I placed a drive-thru order for four Mighty McGriddles and five coffees. When I reached the second window, I requested pancake syrup and was told to ask at the next window.At the following window, the employee was unprofessional and discourteous. They lectured me for not asking at the correct window, informed me that I would need to pay for the syrup—which I was fine with—and then told me to drive around the restaurant again to obtain it. I found this interaction unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful.As a regular customer, I have always expected polite and efficient service from McDonald’s, but this experience fell far short of those standards. Verbal confrontation with customers is never acceptable, and I hope that this matter will be addressed appropriately with the staff involved.Thank you for taking the time to review my concern. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding how this situation will be handled.

I like McDonald's but it is too far from town because I only ride a scooter or a wheelchair. Otherwise it had good employees and the place was clean and staff polite and friendly. Plus there was a pleasant atmosphere thanks I enjoyed my visit

The service is super fast both inside and at the drive-thru and accurate. Ice been to other fast food restaurants where you need to check your order to make sure nothing is missing but I haven't had any mishaps at this McDonald's. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and competent.

Went through the drive-through, ordered a happy meal, and a coffee. Repeated myself three times on the size and what went in the coffee, get to the window and they give me a small, I told them I ordered a medium, they immediately passed me a cup through the window Like it was already made, it was cold, coffee, absolutely gross! Took it back into them and asked for my money back as they said there would be a wait Now,, Given an incorrect change for my coffee, but didn’t have the receipt as it was stuck on the coffee cup I had returned. Then open the Food to find cold rubbery fries. Bad customer service bad food bad experience! Everyone so busy, laughing and talking in their mother tongue to pay attention to customer orders and service!

Very disappointed with the order and they made mistakes for fourth times. I ordered poutine with an extra curds. I grew up at Quebec with poutine. It is like a must meal for me but one bag of curds isnt enough. I ordered three bags once. I live about 25 minutes out of town of Vanderhoof. Pretty exciting to eat poutine and my heart sank to see that its only one bag of curds not three. For second times, i ordered 2 bags of curds into poutine. Same thing. I went to McDonald's again and spoke to manager that I d like to see two bags of curds to put aside the box of poutine so that is the way I can know that i did pay for two bags. Manager assured it will never happen again ever but for third and fourth times. I paid for two bags of curds into poutine but they never bothered to add an extra curds even was said on bill. I snapped photo on both poutine and bills. Not even two bags of curds there in the poutine box. I am ready to stop going there. I was told that these workers do not speak English that made me pondered if they can read the bills?
My recommendation for curd bags is to put separately from poutine box therefore I ll know that I did paid for two bags not for them to put one bag in it.
Now I lost in total 14 bags of curds from various McDonald's. 4 of them from Vanderhoof. Very disappointed here. Next time I will make sure by open the poutine box ensure its two bags of curds. It is kinda rude and offend for workers tho. I am trying to be polite by accepting the food knowing they do the job accordingly.
One star now until I start to receive the order that I expected that will increase to 5 stars very easily!!! Read these bills before you hand it out! If you cant read. Take English course!

Fantastic follow up Service by Management. ? Two weeks ago we did not receive our 3rd meal order, but we called when we got home ( 1 hour later, at home). Management was very nice, took our number and replaced my meal today, free of charge, AND with a kind apology. Thank you so much! ?
