We were traveling through Vanderhoof and stopped on Main Street to look for lunch options. While checking the hours posted at New Pagoda Restaurant, we noticed they weren’t open until 3 PM on Sundays—fair enough, we were ready to move on. But then, to our surprise and delight, a very kind staff member opened the door and warmly invited us in. They had some special orders going out, so the kitchen happened to be open—and we couldn’t pass up the offer!
We enjoyed a lovely lunch in their dining room, and the food was delicious. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and absolutely deserves recognition. Thank you, New Pagoda Restaurant, for going out of your way to make us feel welcome. It was a memorable experience and a highlight of our stop in Vanderhoof!

We got served late. A white couple came in after me and my family and they ordered food. And they got their food before us. My sister says she will never set foot in this restaurant again. I will go to Prince George and have my Chinese food there.

Had dinner tonight 😋 vegetables chow main seed and sour pork almond chicken and wings. I have ate here many times. Today was outstanding 👏 👌 not grease. Top notch 👌 👏 well done thanks you!!!

Server was friendly and helpful, food was hot and came fast but was so so. Disappointed they were out of fortune cookies and toothpicks. I'm sure toothpicks could of been purchased within a block of location so not to be out.
