My first time trying this place. The service was warm and friendly, the food was amazing, and although I got take out, the restaurant was clean and I would’ve been comfortable dining in. I definitely recommend the wonton soup, Cantonese Loo Mein and sweet and sour chicken balls!
First time in Vanderhoof for hospital trip and saw this tiny little Chinese restaurant and was surprised how deep the restaurant goes. Beautiful server also but the meal was dead on not like Burns Lake Chinese restaurants.
We were traveling through Vanderhoof and stopped on Main Street to look for lunch options. While checking the hours posted at New Pagoda Restaurant, we noticed they weren’t open until 3 PM on Sundays—fair enough, we were ready to move on. But then, to our surprise and delight, a very kind staff member opened the door and warmly invited us in. They had some special orders going out, so the kitchen happened to be open—and we couldn’t pass up the offer!
