If I could give it zero I would. Food was awful no vegetables and service was awful.
Would have brought it up if service was good but had to ask to order and for bill.
Ran out of chicken an hour into opening then replaced with fatty pork( very little pork).
No one was really approachable.
Showed up minutes before closing time and was treated like a welcomed guest ?the food was wonderful ??

Went in to the OK cafe to grab a coffee and when we asked about options for coffee flavours( as what were advertised on the menu on the wall) was met with a very curt, “ we don’t have that!”, from the extremely rude woman behind the counter. When we asked about another option was told we only have regular coffee and she promptly turned around and left us! So we left and we will not be returning.

Traveling on Highway 16 and passing through Vanderhoof, BC feeling the hunger pains for real-affordable food. My boys had spring roll combo: yummy and brisket with fries: amazing. Most importantly very filling. We will be visiting again in the future.

Not just OK, but incredible. The pork stew/adobo is unbelievable. They even figured out how to make broccoli taste great. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Vanderhoof.

Delicious authentic Filipino food! We also had the best pie I've ever had in my life. Service was great and atmosphere very cute! Check out the historic sites surrounding it. We will be back!!
Poor experience the staff wasn’t all that inviting had there entire family hanging around, the music was at an uncomfortable level. And several people walked away without ordering because of confusion. That all said the pie and food was excellent and the museum atmosphere was pleasant.
I heard there was a new chef who did Filipino food here in the last month or two and so I stopped in for lunch. We ordered a pork knuckle dish that was out of this world delicious, crispy and rich with a perfect vinegar dipping sauce, and a pork belly dish that was also delicious and crispy and rich and like nothing I had ever tasted. On top of that we had a "chocolate dinosaur" which was a fancy chocolate milkshake type drink that was the perfect not-too-sweet despite having like five kinds of chocolate in it, and my favorite the halo halo which is a dessert full of chewy sweet textural things, ice cream, and shaved ice (like a bubble tea but more fun).On top of that the service was warm, friendly, and quick and the space was comfortable. I will definitely be stopping every time I go through town. Right on the highway so it's easy to get to. Never expected to find these sorts of flavours in Vanderhoof and I'm so glad I did.
