So pleased for once I can praise a restaurant that is beyond Hope. The food here is equal to or better than any Indian place I've been to, even in the Lower Mainland. Just be aware the hot chili scale is Indian rated and a four or five chilii meal would kill the average redneck in 30 seconds. Order a garlic naan with your meal to scoop up the sauce, it's one of the best things there!

We shared the meal for two. We enjoy Indian food and eat it everywhere we travel. This restaurant easily is one of the best. The locally produced lamb was tender and delicious. The Chana Masala and chicken dishes were very flavourfull. The naan was possibly the best ever. The staff was friendly and gracious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Really great quality Indian food, the owners are always so nice and accommodating, food is always good, and well priced. We usually order take but the dine in restaurant is also nicely decorated. Definitely recommend

Fabulous surprise just off Hwy 16 on the Main Street of Vanderhoof. Wide range of Indian dishes prepared to one’s spice taste. The Aloo ghobi and palak lamb, with locally sourced lamb, were both excellent.

Decent small-town Indian food. Selection is very good, and quality is good to very good. Nothing in this town merits more than 3.5 stars, but this place is the best and most consistent option for take-out, so it is our go-to.

Delicious food. Lovely decor. Attentive service. The drinks were particularly good. We got a cocktail that was delicious and a bigger drink than expected, with lovely presentation. And we got a mango lassi, which was rich and delicious; it was less sour and also less sweet than some I've had, and the yogurt and mango were both rich and it was wonderful.
I have been here three times lately, and left satisfied every single time. The place is clean and pleasant, the food is really tasty, the service is fast and friendly. They go the extra mile to accomodate their guests. The food is inexpensive too, and there is plenty of parking space. Compared to other Indian places where I have been in the past, this restaurant has a simple concept, and they take care of the little details just right. A refreshing glass of water without having to ask for it, some extra saus where needed, comfortable seating, prompt service, good music, clean washroom... I really like the place.

This is by far the best Indian food. The service is absolutely fantastic and the food is incredible there's such a huge variety on the menu to eat for everybody to really enjoy and the atmosphere is really lovely.

We have always enjoyed the food at Tasty Tandoori Grill, but the building where it was located was awful. Now they are in a much better building on the main street and have done an amazing job renovating. It is very inviting and the food is as good as ever. We went on their Grand re-Opening and it was very busy as they were donating all proceeds to BC Children's Hospital. I am sure that service will improve as things settle down here, as it was not good on that day.

The food is very good here. The price is okay, but could be a little bit better for what you get. The staff is friendly, but could be a little more attentive. The negatives about this place though are minor and no reason not to go here. Good food and relaxed atmosphere over all.
