I normally like to order in person so I can see what’s available.
Around 3:30 p.m., I was the only customer at the counter. After waiting for 5 minutes, a staff member walked by quickly and said, “I’ll be with you shortly.” A few minutes later, another staff member right in front of me said, “Just one second.” I continued waiting quietly.
Soon, an older customer arrived and waited behind me. While we were standing there, two staff members facing away from the counter were chatting, and then they walked off.
Several more minutes passed before a staff member finally came to the ordering computer—but she waved the person behind me forward to take his order first. I was shocked. I had been standing right in front of the order window for about 10 minutes, and no one helped me, yet they were ready to serve the person behind me.
Upset, I raised my voice to get someone’s attention. Finally, the same employee who first acknowledged me came to take my order. I guess my voice finally got their attention—instantly, four or five staff members emerged from the back room and stood around the order desk.
It wasn’t busy at all. The store clearly had enough staff, but many of them were hiding in the back, leaving in-store service nearly unavailable.
I usually like to support local businesses, but this time I was very disappointed. I’ve had poor experiences at this location before. The manager may have scheduled extra staff for the busy holiday season, but unfortunately, those extra people weren’t actually doing their jobs.

First one in line. Person in front of me finishes ordering I move forward. Nobody comes back. Someone goes to the next till and calls the person behind me. So I go back to the middle. Everyone leaves the till area again. It was well over 5 mins that I stood as the first person with nobody acknowledging me.

The coffee here made my heart beat out of my chest and my guts bubble like dish soap. I had to change my size medium fruit of the looms. I tossed them out on my drive to PG.

I've been going to this Tim horton location since 2020, everytime I walked in I always get a warm welcome from the great staff, either night shift or morning shift staff...Richard is a great guy as well...he is been running this restaurant very well, the restaurant has been renovated,looks amazing 👏,highly recommend anyone going thru vanderhoof and stop to this restaurant...lovely filipino people work there..Hopefully they teach me tagalog 😍😍😍
