“I've been a regular customer at Yamas for years, and I keep coming back for their roast lamb — it's genuinely one of the best I've ever had. The flavors are rich, the meat is tender, and it’s consistently well-prepared. During my most recent visit, I was served by Taya, she was kind and polite.
That said, I’d like to mention two things where I believe there’s room for improvement. First, the roast lamb tends to arrive a bit late, which can affect the overall dining experience. Second, over the years, I’ve noticed a significant increase in the price of the roast lamb, while the portion size has decreased. What used to be 2 generous chunks of lamb is now just one, at a noticeably higher price.
I truly hope Yamas can maintain the quality and value that made it such a standout in the first place. I’m leaving four stars instead of five solely due to the changes in pricing and portion size — otherwise, it remains a fantastic place to dine.“

“I went to OPA to grab some food quickly after an extremely busy day as I didn't want to cook this evening for my family. The staff were very kind, and offered me another item, bag, and whatever I needed.Great experience! The meal was just what I expected and anticipated and the kind girl making the food made sure to ask me whether I wanted parm, etc. Great place no complaints!“

“The other night I went to Opa on Banks Road. They were closing at 830pm and I thought 9pm . I got there at 820 pm and offered to leave . They were so amazing and said absolutely not . Instead , they made up my platter and even offered me a few extras so it wouldn't go to waste . I was extremely impressed with their service and always their food . Thank you OPA“

“All I can say is wow! The gyro pita was amazing. Crisp fresh lettuce! The taziki was super tasty. The calamari was incredible and tasty. The baklava was comparable to a resto I ate in Crete last month! Super happy I took the plunge and ordered! Will be ordering more and more from here! Thank you for a great meal!!! SETON, Calgary AB“
