👏I love Mission Hill. The ambience and location are unmatched. The wine is excellent too. On this occasion I wanted to particularly recommend the Iconic Oculus wine tour. The tour itself is well structured and the wines are fantastic. What made it really special was our Guide, Robbie. He is incredibly well read and knowledgeable not just about Mission Hill Wines, but wine in general. He shared so much historical and geographic knowledge, from around the wine growing world. Information about the industry, the historical contexts and the wine itself. He is also warm, engaging and really fun and funny! I've been to a number of tours at Mission Hill, and yet Robbie managed to impart lots of new information that I'd never heard before. Quite a feat! I highly recommend the Iconic Oculus tour, and Robbie the guide!
We had an amazing summer tasting yesterday! The wines were excellent and beautifully presented, but what really stood out was the service. Our sommelier, Miguel, was exceptional—warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the experience both fun and educational, answering all of our questions and sharing so much insight about each wine. Highly recommend this experience, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Miguel guiding you!
We had someone who was going to visit for the first time, we are a group of 4 and he wanted to purchase some bottles since he tried it before and was really excited to see the place. This new reservation mode for SHOPPING is such a terrible customer experience. We really liked coming here through the years, I guess those times are over. No longer recommending this place and their pretensions ways.
They don't even allow people to walk/drive in these days (you need a 'reservation').
Back in the days you could get there, have some tastings and enjoy the view.
I guess they don't want more customers, or just segregate and have ones they like.
Not good!
Been coming for years now. This time, they have a new policy. You have to make an online reservation to even get inside the property. Fine. Website states that for the store you should send an email or phone. Phone, no one answers. Email, nobody replies. Was staying 5m from them and decided to walk in and see if they would allow me to get in, buy a few bottles and get out. Not even that. Just a fake smile, ZERO apologies, zero hospitality and this is our new policy excuse. No worries, I will take my business elsewhere.
We came here for the long weekend and we absolutely enjoyed it. Our wine tour guide Simon made the experience even better. He was amazing at guiding us through each wine, sparked conversation and made sure our experience was up to standards. Definitely recommend this place for a nice city getaway.
Visited this winery for the first time, and it was beautiful. Magnus and Carly were amazing! 10/10 recommend this place
We booked a tasting and immediately upon arrival requested a table that was in the sun. Our lazy server Magnus told us he had to clean it up first and would sit us elsewhere while he cleaned it up. After 30 minutes and him finally cleaning up, he said there was a reservation there. Turns out that reservation didn’t want to be in the sun as we heard them request a table in the shade. Magnus never cared to offer us to move to the table in the sun. Experience was also ruined when he would bring out the next round of tasting before we even finished the prior one. Felt rushed. Would not return here. We ended up going to quails gate and frinds after and had way better experiences there.
Marcus was great. Full experience and gave us just the right amount of information. Super friendly and made for our favourite tasting experience in Kelowna!

Had a nice fancy meal here
We had the chance to lunch and taste at Mission Hill for our 10th anniversary and the team for sure made it special! The food was delicious, the view was impeccable and the wine tasting was generous and intimate. Thanks to the whole team! We truly appreciated our visit and will be back for sure.
Had the best tasting experience! Dylan was an absolute sweet angel – so knowledgeable and sweet. The wines were amazing as usual!Definitely do the Oculus add-on. Shoutout to Carlie as well, the Guest Experience Manager – she’s amazing and makes the experience memorable.
As a Kelowna resident, I have always considered Mission Hill Winery to be one of the most iconic wineries in British Columbia, perhaps even in all of Canada. Over the years, however, I’ve watched this beautiful winery change significantly — and unfortunately, not for the better.
My most recent disappointment was attending the Gypsy Kings concert. Despite the very high ticket price, the entire performance lasted only about an hour and fifteen minutes — not even long enough to finish the first glass of wine. By contrast, when I attended a similar concert at Mission Hill back in 2019, we received a full five-course meal with wine pairings along with a concert that lasted over two hours, all for about the same price.
This new approach at Mission Hill — catering to a very small, exclusive audience at extremely high prices, while delivering far less value — is disappointing. We were members for years, and I’m now glad we gave up our membership. Unless this new culture changes, I can’t recommend Mission Hill to anyone visiting from out of town or local.
