Great consistancy with the food. Service is ok. Food is great!

We have eaten at Sammy J's Grill in Westbank a couple of times before and each time we loved the food and the service.
On a sunny hot August afternoon once again we decided to treat ourselves on the patio with some appealing inviting food.
The Samurai Bowl is not only divine but also picture perfect in the way it's presented.

We explored quite a few restaurants in the area for date night and once we landed at Sammy J’s we decided that this was the best place to go, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service is beyond any expectations. We’ve got to recognize everyone in the restaurant and without wanting to leave anyone out I want to give a big shout out to Dionne, Hayley, Kiara, Tessa, and the rest of the crew that I haven’t had the chance to catch their name.

No dogs on patio allowed

Just above average pub food. Except for the prices they are on par for Moxie's or milestones

This restaurant is ridiculous. I ordered takeout- jambalaya and a Buddha bowl. When I asked if I could get prawns on the Buddha bowl, I was told they “don’t do seafood with takeout orders”. This makes absolutely no sense since the jambalaya comes with prawns. I was also told it would take 35 minutes for a takeout order which is longer than any other restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. The food was awful and tasted no better than a frozen meal. The Buddha bowl is supposed to be Panang curry and it definitely is not. I was always told Sammy j’s is trash and I’m disappointed they lived up to that reputation. If you’re considering ordering here, please don’t and order from anywhere else instead since this place doesn’t know what they’re doing. I would give zero stars if possible.

This was suppose to be the CAST IRON CHICKEN. I asked for a refund as I wouldn’t eat this, they declined and said it’s suppose to be this way. No way I’m eating Carcinogens.

Best happy hour and nice atmosphere. Service is consistently great. Highly recommend!

We were intending to stop here but we ended up there anyway on the way to a movie and it was great totally forgot about how good the food is the waitresses training where excellent and overall experience was great highly recommend

We love Sammy J’s — the food is always great and the staff are wonderful. It’s been one of our favorite spots in West Kelowna for years.

That said, we were disappointed to find out dogs aren’t allowed on the patio. With so many restaurants now welcoming well-behaved pets outdoors, we hope they’ll reconsider. We’d love to keep enjoying this place with our pup!

ordered lunch for 11 people. everything came packaged perfectly, all labelled so we knew what’s what. it was ready on time and the food was excellent!! highly recommend
