My family are long time customers of Swiss Chalet. On Oct 8, 2021 we attended their West Kelowna location and learned that the Hostess does not have covid vaccination is is rather proud of this fact. I politely explained to her that she should not be doing this job if this is her condition and opinion. I left an on-line complaint on Swiss Chalet’s web site explaining my concerns. On Oct 13 i received a phone call from a Swiss Chalet manager. This manager has not read my complaint, was simply charged with the task of phoning me. I explained the complaint to her. She explained that Swiss Chalet believes that customer health and safety concerns relating to covid are a personal choice left up to their staff. Swiss chalet management does not enforce rules in this regard. I suggested that as a manager, she could delegate upwards to her upper manager and owners and take my concern to them. She made it clear that she would not do this. I leave it up to you, the customer, whether you think that this restaurant is doing all that it can to protect its customers.

We met our friends there for dinner, I was very happy and surprised that the hostess asked for our proof of Covid shots, very polite. First place we have been asked and was very happy to see it. Was very clean, waitress very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Waitress came by a couple of times to see how we were doing. Swiss Chalet should be very proud of their staff and how there customers are treated.

Line cook is very good cant think of a better cook besides chef shirt at white spot, chef skin is very good tho

I feel like this always happens to me at this harveys and never at the ones I've visited around Canada. I always do the same order and the same thing happens, I'll order two veggie burgers and it will take them 25-30 minutes to complete my order. People who order after me will receive their orders before me, and then usually the order come out and the fries are soggy and cold and the veggie burgers are burnt.I'm confused how this keeps happening, perhaps they dont think my order is a priority or for some reason they think a non meat order needs to be cooked longer? This was the fourth time I experienced this.

Just moved here a week ago .. 1st delivery of a family pack came with NO Chalet Sauce!!! Isnt that the BEST part?!?!2x I went in & ordered a veggie burger 2go.. got home & it is NOT what I askd for ..I didnt ask for mayo at all .. no tomatoes or mustard & I only got 1 pickle when I asked for Extra PICKLES .. Is this even mine?? Argh so 2xs ordered & 2xs it was wrong Please please be better Swiss ?

Swiss Chalet sure “made it right” with a delicious meal of ribs and fantastic poutine. Thanks Swiss Chalet!We ordered ribs from here last night. It Was the worst take-out order we’ve ever had. A $99 order and our order of poutine had so little gravy and cheese that it was just french fries after a couple bites. Ordered three rib dinners and the buns you couldn’t Break into them at all they were so hard. Who would even send them?TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

Interesting I placed a review of my bad experience and was hoping for a reach out, but never happened. But if you look at the other reviews he chatted everyone up. Hhmm tells me alot about the owners. Thanks for your support. As I guess you don't want me to support your local business. It's a shame if ever had a problem at McDonald's the manager actually reaches out to you to fix the problem.

We ordered skip the dishes... 65.00$ order and never got any dressing for the caesar salad. The salad consisted of lettuce that was it no croutons no bacon bits no salad dressing. No butter for the dinner roll or the bake poatoe no toppings for the bake potato...just a baked potato... would recommend picking up your orders and checking to make sure you get what you ordered ... firstime time there proberly my last sadly I had high hopes... dennys is better

Fries were pretty good as they are very crispy. Chickens were disappointing as they are oily, rough, not crispy, and tasted not fresh.Breads were so hard that I couldn't even cut it with a knife.

I ordered wings and ribs for pick up and it asked if I wanted celery and carrot sticks for an extra 99cents... I got one little piece of both lol

Swiss chalet is one of our go to restaurants. Just moved here and thought we’d give this one a try. We know businesses need all the help they can get these days. Even ordered an appetizer to give a little extra. To my surprise, the chicken wing appetizer asks if you’d like to pay an extra dollar to get some veggies and dip with the wings (usually included in the restaurant for free). I thought sure, why not they go well with the wings. Paid the extra dollar, and picked up the order. Was impressed at how they separated the salad and veggies in one bag and the hot chicken dishes in another. Opened up the veggie box and found LITERALLY one carrot stick and one celery stick. Are you kidding me? Not only are you charging extra for something that normally comes with the dish at the restaurant, but you have the audacity to put ONE withered celery stick and one carrot stick in a big plastic box?? What a pathetic insult to anyone foolish enough to be a customer. Also, the app explicitly asked if we wanted any butter with the meal (and the receipt even included the butter options) but no butter in the bags! I drove over 20 min each way from Kelowna for this garbage? Swiss chalet has lost a customer until they open up another branch. What a disgrace. I should have known something was off when I saw another customer sitting in the corner upset and cursing under his breath about how they messed his order up also. Who knows what incompetence he was dealing with. Significantly below expectations.

Always love this place for now we are dissapointed with the frenchized are closing down at so many location. It is a real shame to see this going on. Maybe should start on a corner chip truck again. As they did in Ontario.
