👏I love Mission Hill. The ambience and location are unmatched. The wine is excellent too. On this occasion I wanted to particularly recommend the Iconic Oculus wine tour. The tour itself is well structured and the wines are fantastic. What made it really special was our Guide, Robbie. He is incredibly well read and knowledgeable not just about Mission Hill Wines, but wine in general. He shared so much historical and geographic knowledge, from around the wine growing world....read full review
I've been lucky to of visited various wineries around the world. MH is without doubt the most overrated, overpriced and unfriendly place I've ever been in. If in the Okanagan, many other, less pretentious wineries will welcome you. I recommend you try them instead.
We were visiting Mission Hill for almost 25 years and were bringing our guests to show a winery. Not anymore - winery decided to limit access to members only or by reservations. It’s OK - there are a number of great wineries around to visit :-)

The Restaurant at Mission Hill Family Estate offers an exceptional dining experience with stunning lake and mountain views. The four-course tasting menu features great food and perfect wine pairings, with the halibut pairing standing out. The staff, including Samantha, provide outstanding service, making the visit special from beginning to end. Guests can enjoy starting the evening with a glass of ‘bubbly' at the main entrance, and a little ‘top up’ at the table adds to the experience. Although the timing at the start of dinner (bread) was a small criticism, it improved as the meal progressed. The venue's private dining room is comfortable and ideal for celebrations. The food was done to perfection, very tasty and tender, and the ambiance was wonderful with views of lights and the lake. Service was engaging, friendly, and attentive, with staff being warm and knowledgeable. The wine was of excellent quality, and each course seemed created to perfectly complement the wine. Guests enjoyed a memorable night, even though the outside paths lacked lighting, which made the start a bit strange but not unpleasant. Overall, the restaurant offers a wonderful culinary experience at one of the most beautiful wineries in BC, making it an excellent choice for special occasions.
