I've been lucky to of visited various wineries around the world. MH is without doubt the most overrated, overpriced and unfriendly place I've ever been in. If in the Okanagan, many other, less pretentious wineries will welcome you. I recommend you try them instead.

Micheal was amazing today at the wine tasting event. I would give him a 10 star for his service.

We were visiting Mission Hill for almost 25 years and were bringing our guests to show a winery. Not anymore - winery decided to limit access to members only or by reservations. It’s OK - there are a number of great wineries around to visit :-)

Food was TOO expensive!! Over priced for an average meal. Service was excellent though.

Any comments before May 2025 are pretty much invalid as visitors are no longer welcome at the winery unless you pre-book an expensive event. As a local, I have many fond memories of visiting Mission Hill (which is gorgeous by the way) for wandering, tastings, shopping in the lovely shop. It makes me sad that locals are no longer welcome.

My wife and I came her to check out the Winery, we were impressed the moment we drove in.
We were greeted very professionally and they set the expectation that a wine tasting was mandatory to visit the grounds; that’s very fair and does not cheapen the experience it enhances it.
Zoe gave us a great wine tasting and provided outstanding service and knowledge.
We ended up buying a few bottles of wine and will be back again.
Keep up the great work !!!

Had a wonderful afternoon celebrating my wife's birthday. We started with a wine tasting in Mission's tasting area which is like none we've ever seen before. It was beautiful with the décor, very eclectic, and dedicated tables/sofas which really enhanced the experience. We then ate at the Terrace and had the Chef's Tasting Menu. The lunch was incredible, the vineyard/grounds on Okanagan lake, and the property were stunning. A shout to Jasmine who was our host for the tasting and Megan, our server at Terrace. Both very professional, courteous and pleasant and they both made my wife feel very special on her bday which was much appreciated!

We came in as a group of seven for dinner expecting a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, what we received was a deeply disappointing experience marked by poor service that felt not only unprofessional but also potentially discriminatory.

From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed uninterested in helping us. Despite having a reservation for seven, we were kept waiting for an unreasonably long time while other smaller groups who arrived after us were seated and served promptly. We were not given any explanation or apology.

Once seated, it took over 25 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders, and even longer for the food order. Throughout the meal, we had to repeatedly flag down staff just to get basic service like water refills or utensils. It felt like we were being deliberately ignored.

What stood out even more was the stark contrast in how other tables (largely non-Asian) were being treated smiles, attentive service, check-ins, and polite interaction. Meanwhile, our group, consisting entirely of Asian diners, received minimal attention and visibly colder treatment.

It’s hard not to wonder whether our ethnicity played a role in how we were treated. Regardless of intent, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

As paying customers, and as a group that came in for a nice dinner not to be treated as an afterthought this level of service is unacceptable. I hope management reflects seriously on this feedback, retrains the staff, and works toward creating an environment where all customers are treated with basic respect and fairness.

We will not be returning, and I would advise others especially larger groups or minorities to be cautious before dining here.

Excellent winery restaurant with incredible lake and mountain views. Food choices were very good and delicious. Wine pairings also very good. Starting the evening with a glass of ‘bubbly' at the main entrance was a lovely. Having a little'top up' at our table very nice too. Small criticism was the overall timing at the start of dinner (bread) but it improved as time went on. Overall a wonderful culinary experience at one of the most beautiful wineries in BC.

A lovely experience from beginning to end. Food was delicious and beautifully paired with Mission Hill wines. Our server was terrific and the experience overall was delightful for a Saturday afternoon. I'll be back next time I visit!

A truly magnificent dinner. With an elegant menu with interesting food with wine matching each dish. Samantha our server was outstanding along with other servers. Each dish was exquisitely presented. We had friends visiting from Australia and our evening did not disappoint.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner, it was the perfect setting to conclude the end of our vacation in BC. The view was phenomenal, it was almost a full moon, the service was impeccable (and timely - 3 course dinner). There was a clicking noise from the heater above our table and a few others that lasted for about 20 min or so, ours was eventually turned off and they brought us blankets so that we could stay warm.
