Very delicious and budget friendly sharing platters!! The long wooden benches instead of chairs were not very comfortable and felt squished in the restaurant...Analise was out of this world!! Will be back

I hesitantly reserved on Valentines day, not being certain of the setting or their food. Contextually, I am on a high protein diet, so it was not a difficult choice. We ordered Meat Sweats, a combination of meats to be shared among 4 - 6 people. We also ordered two portions of mac&cheese and salads. We were a party of 5. The food was more than enough in volume and very good. The smoke was abundant in the flavours but the meats were not overly sweet or saucy. Everything was tender. For those who wanted sweet BBQ, their sauce did that perfectly, I'm sure we will be back. Oh yes, the service was friendly and prompt. Also, their interior design is creative, with their old western theme. I looks like something Disney would do in a western themed eatery. It's hard to believe the building is new - it looks to be 100 years old.

Server was very friendly but a little slow to get drinks. Food temperature could have been a bit warmer but was very tasty. Very good overall.

Could not recommend, sadly. We had heard good things. Food was poor quality and high priced. We did not finish and tossed leftovers, that's how disappointed we were.

My friends and I visited this place for my birthday. We were accommodated and seated without any waiting time. Cory (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling), our server, was very knowledgeable with the menu. Since it was our first time there, we had no idea yet on what to get even we checked out the menu items online. She was kind and patient enough to explain the menu. We got a few drinks, and the bartender was pleasant too. The food was exquisite, the cocktails were delicious as well. We will definitely go back! Thanks for making my birthday extra special <3

We went for the taste around menu. The menu was not provided at all. The food was decent, service not bad but we wanted the taste around experience and it was not offered at all. It was a let down.

Super day at a super place. As promised they prepared a whole roasted pig and offered it up at no charge. I made a reservation for 2 pm and I think we enjoyed the last 4 portions of a very small pig. Free birthday cake too. The special offer of $5 sleeves of beer is why this review isn't a 5! Star review. I guess they ran out of sleeve glasses and only had pint glasses....at the regular price. Also with the meat draw, band and standing room only floor, the noise level was out of this world.

We had the burnt end and they were amazing!!melted in your mouth. Corn bread was good had some Brisket too. It was all mouth watering and so tender had to scoop it with a spoon. Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our recent experience at the Hatching post. We arrived with 5 minutes to spare and our server honoured our request for happy hour sized Mac and brisket as we knew it would be too large to eat it all Peach white ale and the ipa were excellent as well. Wait staff was friendly and helpful all in all a 5/5

We were a group of 6.we ordered both family style platters which were super tasty. Awesome service and portions were huge! Definitely going back....so glad we discovered this gem of a restaurant. We came from lake country and strongly recommend.

A really unique place with an old western feel. Neat old tables and chairs. Really enjoyed their beer. I had the Widowmaker Stout. Ordered their two biggest platters. The Meat Coma and appetizer platter. Both served very quickly. Family enjoyed it overall. The smoked chicken and brisket were both great. All the other meat was just pretty ok. Some ribs good. Some not. Some burnt ends good. Some not. Pulled pork was ok. Appy platter highlight was the pickled veggies. I guess it's just a bit too pricey for what it all was. Yes we had leftovers. Just didn't think it was worth the money.

Pretty tasty overall. I didn't personally love everything but there are different strokes for different folks and the things that I didn't love, other people in our party did love! There was nothing that was gross or universally rejected by all. The general consensus was that we all liked the brisket. Nothing on our tasting platters were too smoky, and the mango or peach sauce was really unexpectedly great. Our occasion was my daughter's 15th birthday, looks like reservations were needed - so do make a reservation if you are more than 2 or 3 people. The restaurant had fun vibes, the service was good not slow or bad as other reviews suggest, and we all would go again.

This was our first time here! Food was incredible, beer was good too. Too busy for trivia- hard to hear and only on one screen.

We had heard many good things about The Hatchery. Unfortunately this was not our experience. The sides were okay. The brisket and tips were dry. The brisket that came with the Mac and cheese was very dry. We will not be back.
