West Sakura Teriyaki Restaurant

West Sakura Terriyaki Restaurant was a lovely surprise from start to finish. Passing through West Kelowna and needing dinner we found this gem and we’re so glad we did lol. 😊 The restaurant was very clean, the decor was modern and well kept and the seating was very comfortable and it had air conditioning!. The couple who served us were sooo sweet and the food was……absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves sushi 🩷

This is not a Japanese restaurant, it's a Vietnamese restaurant that serves poorly-made sushi. The owner should stick to Vietnamese fare because the Vietnamese dishes actually look decent, whereas the owner does not understand sushi. The name of the restaurant is misleading, they need to advertise themselves as a Vietnamese restaurant, not a Japanese restaurant.

The Superman Roll soars above the rest — fresh, flavorful, and totally heroic. If you try one thing here, make it this roll. Hands down the best sushi in the valley 🙌

We had a very delicious lunch here, sushi was so good, everything fresh, beautifully presented, and great service.
Highly recommend! Was a nice surprise to find such good sushi in this area.

Delicious food and wonderful owners. They are so kind and care so much for their customers. They always make sure the food is fresh and amazing

The Vento box for dining is generous—you get plenty of food, and the flavors are quite satisfying.

There’s a wide variety of makis to choose from, and the staff is genuinely friendly. One thing I truly appreciated was how, when it comes time to pay, they give you space—no awkward tipping pressure at all.

Of course you'll end up tipping anyway... because the service and the flavors deserve it.

The salad had previously frozen carrots that were basically mush.
They didn’t bring my daughter Wasabi on her Bento box, and then disappeared and we were unable to get some so we shared. Was charged extra for changing a roll in the box to a Avacado roll, which is cool. But it was the smallest roll I have ever seen. Ordered a California roll for my wife to go. All of us had stomach issues that night. Food was horrible, service was equally as bad. Never going back. Ever!

We ordered take out pick-up and while it was a little difficult to find it was welcoming when we arrived and the food was wonderful and fresh!
