I am giving this a 5 star review based on price and expectations. They are a small take out restaurant. Their prices are reasonable, they make the food fresh, are always kind and give you what you pay for. One suggestion is to have smaller soup, veggie or light options. It's a lot to order a combo and add on a soup or a veggie stirfry. Too much heavy food. Side salad, miso, broth, a smoothie or anything would be a game changer. Doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense with the food, throw in a cup of soup for $4 to make it reasonable and make it hurt less.

This is their Kung pao chicken. If it was explained on their site id have not ordered it..maybe I should have asked what was in it. I expected a typical Kung pao chicken with cooked chicken cubes and maybe rice or noodle in a stir fry style. The taste was fine but its a lot of battered chicken.

Ginger all batter no meat, nice sauce touch too sweet. Fried rice is always consistent, you can taste the wok flavor on the rice which sets them apart from Jade Buffet. Veggies are decent. Sweet and sour pork par for the course, would be nice to have some onions and peppers in it. Wish West K had better Chinese period.

I have been thoroughly disappointed in the time management of this restaurant both times we have ordered from this location. First time was approximately 45 minutes waiting for picking up after the time it was supposed to be ready. The next time we decided to order delivery early in the afternoon for the evening. It is currently an hour after it was supposed to be delivered - and hasn’t arrived. After calling the restaurant, I was told it should be ready soon…..

This place is a mainstay. There are a few excellent, family-owned Chinese restaurants in W Kelowna, and this is one of them.
Portion size, quality and service are all great. It's easy to understand why there's a lineup during rush hour.
I've never been disappointed with my orders. Always hot and fresh.

We ordered the combo D and the other one was Rice Gingerbeef chow mein and it wasn’t terrible but it was great everything had no taste or flavour had to get it to go and no cutlery and only one package of soya sauce and that’s it, I hope there are better places than this in Kelowna
