Worst portion sizes I've ever seen, burnt miso soup which honestly I was super excited for. Didn't know you could burn it. Then argumentative server who was smashing pots and pans. And I get its a restaurant but literally SMASHING them. I get why I was the only person here. 17 bucks for 4 peaces of sashimi and a the smallest dynamite roll I've ever seen. Don't do it if your thinking of going here

Really loved the sushi here! I’ve been to many other sushi places but this felt the most fresh. I actually appreciated their smaller menu, it made it feel more specialized. If you are polite and kind customers then that is the service level you shall receive. Their chopped scallop role was so good that I went back for a second serving after we got our takeout!

I’ve been coming here for many years, and have always had a wonderful and consistent experience. Such fresh fish, delicious rolls and nigiri, and they are always so lovely. They often have remembered my order and are always polite and kind. Such a great neighbourhood establishment - definitely recommend.

My partner and I sat down to order food, the initial energy the lady had towards us was unwelcoming. I wondered if they were closed? No wonder why they were empty once we experienced the lady’s attitude as we ordered. We felt rushed to order . We ordered well over $20 of food on a bill we planned to pay together, the lady said I hadn’t ordered over $10 and I asked if I needed to when my partner had ordered multiple items. I asked for the menu again so I could choose another item and she dismissed me and stormed into the kitchen, asked if I wanted my edamame warm or cold- I was confused as at every sushi restaurant I’ve been to, it’s been steamed. I heard her throw it in the microwave and based on the low quality customer service, my partner and I stood to say thank you but that we will cancel our order. They yelled at us as we left the restaurant.

This sushi is like cr*ack for sushi lovers. It is a good, authentic product without any unnecessary sweet sauce.
We will be back for more.

Anyone else feel like the old lady taking orders is really unfriendly with her tone? “Bye!!!” It is like she was shouting at us to get our food and leave.

I did not enter their restaurant until after my father had ordered the food for my three younger siblings. All under 12 years old so yes a California roll and cold edamame tied them over until we could get home for dinner. We used the bathroom as my little sister got your hand sanitizer in her eye. I asked four times for a cup of water to get it out and YOU told us to go to the bathroom. We were in there for 3 min max. That is a lie that we used it messy. And we waited outside on the curb for our food not at a table. I was in your restaurant for 5 minutes max. And two of those you were talking bad about me saying I’m so picky. Again I’ve never had edamame cold, and I asked very nicely if you could heat it up. And you agreed and said out out out to everyone but I stayed and that’s why I heard you. You are so rude. Do not come here they are liars

Didn't ask me if I had any allergies. I was just ordering a salmon/avocado roll....who knew they would sprinkle sesame seeds all over? Anyways, I thought "no problem" and I asked them to cut the rice with sesame seeds off. They refused saying it was "sticky rice and there's only a few". I tried insisting that they cut it off and I would have been quite happy as the portions were generous. They told me it was my fault for not telling them.
Anyways, in this restaurant the customer is never right.
Too bad: the sushi was actually quite good and reasonably priced.

Listen, food mediocre. Kinda dry and no teriyaki or tempura items, some sushi place this is. They, with pride, hang their awards about how long they have been in business, suprised it still is... During our time there, the service was fine until it wasn't. At the end of our meal we were yelled at to get up and pay... yelled at... like actually yelled at that the store was closing even though their sign says it closes at 7:30, even though it was 2:00. Later we realized this is a shared experience with other customers. We were kind and understanding so not too sure why we got this response.

Got Bay Sushi before we caught our ferry today. Always love when I have time to stop in here. Excellent sushi and they are very nice and our order was made fresh and quick. Hidden gem for sure.
