I’ve had great experiences with the food and drinks here aside from the drip coffee; sometimes cold or having grounds in it.

Good day and well wishes for 2026 to the great folks at this location.
May I start by saying that I had the best egg&cheese muffin paired with an even amazing Americano ☕️ - kudos to the connoisseurs behind the scenes!
On a different note, I am saddened and slightly annoyed at some of the tone-deaf and negative reviews about this location. My work experience in the service and quality assurance industry has made me resilient to subjective behaviour, but this one takes the medal 🏅 The over-sheltered and pampered individuals who disliked the service, taste and temperature of their cafeteria food not being able to meet their inflated standards, could have easily communicated eloquently and asked for a little more to make their experience better - a simple smile, a different food item or correction to the order may have been more helpful; kindness will only come back as kindness.
Finally, the purpose of Google reviews is to help the public make educated and friendly choices and not to be subjected to an individual's frustrations. Peace ✌️ and Praise 🙏

I just had the worst turkey pesto sandwich ever. Anyone can tell it’s been in store for more than 3-4 days. I felt like throwing up cause there was a sharp bitter taste due to old spinach and other ingredients in it.
I do not recommend any of the sandwiches.
But you can try other things like grilled cheese and wraps.

One cashier belabouring an order of 1 drink and 1 baked good. Two giggling helpers clustered around the cashier with obviously nothing to do. I ordered from them and one pointed at the cashier while the other got the hint. After the cashier finished the preceding order my coffee was waiting. Lukewarm. Both the milk AND cream were empty...just like the servers.
Overpriced coffee, cramped feel to the seating. Service with a smile, not so much.

Great convenient location at WV Community/Aquatic Centre. Virtual market monopoly on uber-tasty sandwiches/snacks + coffees with constant flow of dedicated customers. Lattes + Mochas are a fave and always a good choice.
Interior space is bright with tables/counter/some booths. Outside seating also available in Atrium, and on broad outdoor patio. Amazing views of treed pathways + gardens, Boulder Fountain + Great Lawn.
B.A.W. = your snack + caffeination destination at Community Centre. Definitely worth checking out on your next visit.

Thank you very much to the brunette girl who brought my daughter a hot chocolate today after she hurt her head. It was very scary for her but that made her feel a lot better. Best hot chocolate we ever tasted and she’s hooked now! We’ll be back.
Not that bad, I guess. I always come here to get my drink after my class, in the community center. It is very expensive, but I think that’s because it’s a very convenient location.

This coffee shop is so overpriced. A medium pumpkin spice for $7 and not even as nice as Starbucks. Would definitely not return again for their specialty coffees.

It's lovely that we've got a cafe in the community centre, but sadly it's a Bean. The location is nice, and the staff is pretty friendly. But their food and drinks are low quality, and extremely expensive for what they are.

Not a great representation on my visit, I asked for an Americano Misto with 2 extra shots and it cost $20. I asked for drip coffee instead but they were out at the time.
