I wasn't a huge fan of the Mushroom Tagliatelle I ordered but found the Mortadella pizza to be good. So personally I'd recommend the pizza over the pasta. Kids pastas were more expensive than usual but we're better made than most places do for kids and also included either apple or orange juice.

Atmosphere and service is a five for sure! Our server was so friendly and great at suggesting dishes on the menu. The interior is chic and stylish, although small in size so there aren’t a ton of tables. (Just means it’s probably best to reserve ahead of time)
The food was delicious overall! We really enjoyed the appetizer (burrata) and pasta. Flavours were well thought out and executed quite well. The pizza was good but not amazing compared to others we’ve tried. We had the mushroom one. (Lots of toppings which was nice but was missing something, maybe a bit more layers of flavour?) The ingredients tasted fresh though so that’s always a check ✔️

I came here with my family to surprise my sister for her birthday and it was an awesome experience. Sammy our server was so friendly and helpful he accommodated all of our requests and went out of his was to record the moment we surprise my sister which was very sweet.

Service is genuinely friendly by staff who are seriously good at their jobs. Lots of interesting choices. Menu includes familiar Italian favourites and also features items eg: kinds of pasta that you don’t often see here. Huge windows look out over the sea. Awesome setting. Atmosphere inside is comfortable but also has an air of something special. Go.

Heard so many good things about this restaurant and was looking forward to finally trying for a special occasion. Our first mistake was taking a table in their overflow space in adjoining cafe. It was explained to have the same ambience as main restaurant, but not at all the case. To make things worse our server was obviously inexperienced, cocktails took forever to arrive, and timing of appetizers and mains was all off. Food was tasty but not consistent with the price and menu is limited with fairly standard Italian fare. We won’t go back.

The food was just okay — nothing particularly special, especially considering the price, which felt a bit high for the quality. However, the service was excellent. We reserved a table for six about 30 minutes before arriving, and everything was ready when we got there. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really improved the overall experience.

Have to say we had a superb meal this evening & the service was great. The food was delicious. My husband had the Halibut & it was like butter it was so fresh & tender. If you haven't tried this place, you need to. It is great.

Hostess was lovely and sat us immediately even though they were quite busy. The food we ordered was delicious. We debated ordering a starter of Focaccia however the price made it seem a little silly when most restaurants offer that for free. The restaurant itself was very welcoming however it felt as though it was missing some charm and character to it. All the staff were very nice.

We visited the new Fred’s location in Sechelt over the weekend and were blown away. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as impressive.
We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending Fred’s to friends and family. Sechelt is lucky to have this new gem!
