It’s not apparent when walking by that this previously all Italian restaurant now has a curry section! The sign for the Golden Curry is high up and close to the building - easily seen driving by, but almost impossible to spot on foot. However its curry menu is quite extensive, and my usual reliable choice of chicken tikka masala (medium spicy!) was quite delicious, as was my friend’s chicken korma! (And there was lots of it to take home for tomorrow’s lunch.) The service was friendly and welcoming, but dinner was a long time coming, like an hour! It didn’t bother us as we’d have been there that long chatting anyway, but if someone was in a hurry, a wait this long would have been more than annoying.

A fabulous little restaurant! - the food is delicious, generous portions, quick efficient and friendly service. This is obviously a family operated business, and they clearly take a great deal of care and pride. Casual and unpretentious - great quality at an affordable price!! Italian food served as well

Their prices are ok but I got the pulao rice and it was quite boring.Everything else tasted alright but tasted better the next day.Response to the owner: no, I paid $9.60 for some pretty tasteless Pulao rice. Or you by accident gave me jeera rice to which you owe me money back

The only reason it wasn't perfect is that they didn't fulfill my requests for additional cilantro and chili's (I ordered via Uber Eats, but you should try Golden Curry's own free delivery service and skip the horrendous Uber fees).The taste of their lamb wrap was out of this world. The chicken curry dish was also making me see Jesus. I was so pleased that it came out this way. Portions were solid, but their naan is so good you should order extra. No comment on the spice, since I have extremely high spice tolerance and my comment may be misleading (hence why I wanted extra chilis).Will order again (through their free delivery service, or perhaps dine in, not through Uber Eats).

Their food is 10/5 and their service is 5/5. Their garlic naan’s was very crispy and soft and butter chicken masala was to die for. I really would recommend them and this is my favourite place in west Vancouver now❤️❤️

Excellent! We chose to have Indian food and every dish was unique and excellent. We requested no cream and we’re happily accommodated. The food was perfect. Highly recommend.

Went to this place and it’s Labelled as “Casa Di Amici” on the outside but another sign saying “Golden curry “ but it’s actually the same restaurant. Their food is all frozen food either microwaved or pre made and heated up . Everything I’m the middle is dry and bland . They are labelled “Italian” and “Indian” but they can’t cook Indian or Italian . Just bad food in general don’t let the ratings deceive you . These are fake ratings with fake accounts . Not worth your money . Instead walk across the road and go to an Indian restaurant called “Swad” they are actually authentic and house made .

We ordered takeout in advance for an evening pickup and selected Golden Curry because they had an inviting first-order promo and reasonable prices. The online order process was a breeze, and we had Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Dal, and some rice/Naan. The order was prepared correctly and ready for the time we chose. We enjoyed the vindaloo, but unfortunately every other dish was really, really salty (we order curry very regularly and these dishes tasted like there had been an error during preparation). The amount of rice and meat in each dish was was also a bit less than we're used to from other places.

I went there with my family on week day hoping it wouldn’t be busy but it was actually so busy.The staff was really good and cooperative they let us know about every cuisine very nicely so overall it was great experience and we definitely going to visit this place again.

Ordered all Indian vegetarian, everything was really tasty. Each dish had a distinctive flavour. Spice level was perfect. Definitely the best Indian food on the west and north shore but we think it might be the best we’ve had anywhere in the last few years. Will order again!
