If you want hot pot, do not go to Legendary. Low quality food. No variations for sauce, and instead of adding broth, they use water or tea to fill up the soup base. It was horrendous. Food ordered was missed, random orders came to our table. I’m feeling sick after eating there. No care in food or service. Everything was a zero. This is my first review but this is that bad and need to let folks know.

After reading a number of reviews, my friends and I still decided to give this place a try because we were getting hungry and wanted something hot. At first, the servers were very friendly and explained how it works with the ordering. After we placed our order, we went to get the sauces and side dishes. One of my friends said to the woman that the cilantro wasn’t fresh. Her reply was “pick out the better ones or just don’t eat it” in a combative tone. My friend then said, “is this how you do business?” Afterwards, when the man brought our dishes, he didn’t breathe a word every single time, yet engaged with other customers. However, the woman was decent enough that when we asked questions, she answered them and topped up our soups a couple of times. Foodwise, it was pretty average and the soup probably had a lot of msg because we got really thirsty after the meal. If you want hot pot, I would recommend driving into Vancouver and trying Liuyishou, Haidilao or Big Way.

Never tried hot pot before coming here, the food was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed a lot of new things we hadn't before. The accompanying dipping sauce was delicious and the fried doughnut and ice cream was a perfect way to end our meal.
The highlight however was the friendly and helpful service we received, if I didn't live so far away I'd come here regularly and happily give this place my business.

Tomato soup base has no taste, basically just some kind of pork bone soup throw in couple of piece of tomato. Peanut sauce and sesame sauce are being diluted become watery. The only side dish is the seaweed which is not fresh. Bean curb stripes is a bit green, appearantly its old and turing bad. We all had stomach discomfort after had their hotpot. Very bad experience! Will not recommend at all...

The food, service, and atmosphere were all disappointing. The soup base was so watered down it might as well have been plain boiling water. The server made multiple mistakes and, shockingly, blamed the customers. The restaurant itself felt unclean, and the buffet items appeared as though they had been sitting out for days.
If you're craving a quality hot pot experience, I highly recommend HaiDiLao Hot Pot. It’s priced similarly but offers far superior food, service, and ambiance.

Me and my girlfriend decided to go try this hot pot place went after skiing. Was really disappointed, soup was bland, and tofu tasted old. Also feel the cuts and plates were not really the cleanest. I was expecting better but would not be visiting again.

Went to this restaurant with a few friends around a week ago, the food was so bad, everything tasted really old and funky. The service was awful, as they couldn’t even explain the menu properly. One of the imitation crabs we ordered still had plastic on them and was put into a soup. After telling them the situation, they didn’t even apologize or do anything about it, instead during the bill, they demanded a tip. Poor service and terrible food overall. This place is a health and safety hazard
