Been coming here all my life, used to be the best sushi place on the north shore. Recently they stopped putting cucumber in thier California rolls, without cucumber The California roll actually taste gross. Sushi has such little ingredients in it I have no idea why they thought removing it was a good idea. Unfortunately I'll no longer be stopping here anymore 😭 real shame.

Tried the chicken katsudon, it was a good sized portion but was mostly overcooked chunks of batter, with small bits of chicken in the mix. I’d tried the sushi from here a year ago and didn’t care for it, was hoping a different dish would be better

Amazing quality and reasonably priced- I got it to go and it was packaged very nicely as well. Love the bento boxes

I would give 0 stars if that’s possible. The server with black hair in her early 30s was so rude, gaslighting me that the menu that came out wrong was the one I ordered. I even pointed out on the menu with the description and how it’s different from what I got but she would change the topic and insist that’s what I got. After arguing for a while, she FINALLY offered to comp the menu. However, she didn’t even take it off the bill when I got up, out of my seat to pay the bill because she was busy playing around. Overall, DO NOT GO. Service is absolutely terrible, food isn’t good either and most importantly, beware of that server!!
Delicious miso soup and vegetarian rolls! The Bento boxes are a very decent price for the amount of food provided. Also very cute and cozy inside, and our waitress was lovely ? This place is a short drive from the Cypress waterfall, so it was a much needed feast after hiking!

For how much it costs, its not good. Spicy tuna sashimi wasn’t good, wild salmon nigiri has a very fishy taste, chicken was terrible, gyozas were ok. Only thing that was actually enjoyable was the spicy california rolls. Very disappointed for how much we paid. Food quality lacking big time. Most likely wont go back.
