Sushi Mega West Vancouver

We got takeout on the way to the ferry. The online ordering process was so easy and very much appreciated. The food we got was INCREDIBLE! My mom and I loved it! Our favorite dishes were, the Mad Salmon Roll, Salmon Avo Don bowl and the Spicy Yam Roll. They were AMAZING!!! So glad we stopped here, absolutely incredible food!!

Update: No one would answer the phone for a pick up order. So I came by in person and saw that they were not busy, but the waitress was overwhelmed and asking the chef questions at every step. Service was bad, long wait, but food was okay. Removed a star for the service.

This place used to be quite good! In the last year and a bit it has steadily gone down hill. Just the other day ordered gomai and there was little sauce just over cooked sauceless spinach cud left you feeling like a cow and tasting worse than grass! My shrimp sonomono not much flavour and a very dried prawn. The rolls were nothing special and my tuna sashimi looked like it was cut right from the blood line but packed no flavour! And the killer was the teriyaki beef, it was coated in some sort of sauce that wasn’t teriyaki more like a Bulgogi. Overall not happy especially for that price!

Stopped on our way to the ferry. Awesome roll - had too many ingredients, too big, everything falling apart, you cannot have it from one bite, just too much. Alaska and tiger rolls - were both very good and delicious

The service felt inattentive and unwelcoming. There was no greeting or welcome, and after the food was served, no one came to check in on us at any point. When we wanted to order additional items, I had to get up from the table to do so. Rather than simply taking the order when I approached her, the staff member told me she would come to the table — which just added unnecessary back-and-forth.

Ordered dynamite rolls and avocado rolls for takeout. Not greeted with a hello, kind of felt like I was interrupting their routine of serving maybe 2 tables. Anyway, I had asked for extra ginger and got a package with Wasabi jammed into the container (which I had not asked for) with ginger. I feel it should be packaged separately as not everyone can eat Wasabi. The freshness I usually experience with rolls was not apparent, the dynamite roll especially. I would hesitate before getting rolls from this restaurant. Hoping maybe this was an off day for them?

We're from Utah in the US so we're not any sort of authority on Sushi. That said, this was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the salmon and avocado, chicken teriyaki, and California rolls!

We couldn't eat. They didn't have a spot for us and were kindly rude. We got in, and the atendent said: We have no table and almost take us off.
1 minute later another atendent came and told us gently that they didn't have tables available but they could call us when they have it, but unfortunately it could take more 30 minutes.

Absolutely terrible service when we did a take out. The female who took the order was very rude when we went back in to complain that it leaked all over the car before we could even drive away. She accused us of lying and said “I s don’t believe you “ at least 3 times. The chef too was very rude and both were yelling at us. I regret even tipping them. Had I known the service was going to be terrible and accusatory and rude. Not going back.
