March 31, 2024 went to this WONDERFUL restaurant that I visited 30 years ago. It STILL HAS IT—scrumptious seafood, impeccable service (Christian was great) and the cleanest washrooms in town. The cosy wood interior and lovely curated artworks as well as the warm, caring and attentive staff made for a MOST MEMORABLE EASTER FEAST. My family HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FANTASTIC RESTAURANT. I would give it ten stars out of a possible five stars if I could. It is only a very short drive over the Lion’s Gate Bridge so it is an easy drive for Vancouverites and WELL WORTH IT!

Seafood tower for two is so fun for a date/celebration! Everything tasted great, some things were particularly spectacular like the in-house candied salmon, the crab salsa, the butter for lobster and the sauce for the oysters. The view can’t be beat too. Service was the best I have had in a really long time. I’m really surprised that I have lived here for so long yet never heard of this place. Give it a try if you haven’t yet!

I love thé fact that the Japanese owner still owns and runs this place. Met him years ago and thought he was a nice man. That was when we were all younger and he was sitting in a coffee shop. My family seems to like coming here for special occasions and I myself seem to find myself here at least twice a year. The classical salmon house menu has served them well. The view is always outstanding and with one exception (the spring rolls came a bit burnt) everything else was good. Nice solid place to take a date or family meals. I am excited for the new one when they build it.

We went to the Salmon House to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It was a clear day, so we had a beautiful view. The staff were very gracious and the food was amazing, as it always is. It was a perfect evening.

It's been years since we've eaten dinner here, went here for Valentine's dinner. They had a fabulous set menu, all were delicious and the special hibiscus margarita was awesome. ❤️ Always a great experience eating here, wish we were sitting by the window but it's still ok. Great view of Vancouver!

My wife and I went to celebrate Valentine's Day and we both love seafood. My wife had the Sablefish and I had the Alderwood Sockeye with crab cakes a dessert to die for was the Ravioli cheesecake with peach compote. Jessica was so very helpful as we explored the amazing menu. As I said we love seafood so the choices were difficult as everything looked like a wonderful taste sensation. We were not disappointed and were wonderfully pleased as everything met our needs. Jessica helped us select our choices and were pleased with our dinner, drinks, and dessert.
Dessert is a must try! Oyster is fresh with special flavor. Romantic vibe too!

Consistently good food, fresh seafood and veggies. I have heard it might be replaced by townhouses and that would be terrible. This restaurant is a North Shore and British Columbia icon. Keep it right where it is!
We had a virtually flawless experience at the Salmon House on the Hill. Gorgeous view, impeccable service, wonderful food, and a lovely, quiet ambience. It could not have been a better evening out.

Beautiful setting. Excellent food. Timely service. I left my phone outside after taking pics of the outstanding view and the staff retrieved and held it safe (after hours). They even waited until we drove back and unlocked the door to return it. Much appreciated. Over and above. Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you to your Team.
