Expensive for what you get.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The quality of the drink was much lower than expected and not what I usually associate with Starbucks. I hope more attention is given to staff training and quality control, as this location could definitely improve

This is the second time I’ve been to this Starbucks and had my order made incorrectly. We specifically asked for a half-sweet drink, which was completely ignored, it was overwhelmingly sweet.
The cappuccino was unbelievably hot, to the point that both of us burned our mouths. It was completely undrinkable at first. After waiting about 20 minutes for it to cool down, it was still terrible, watery, weak, and didn’t taste like a cappuccino at all.
One mistake is understandable, but repeated issues and poorly made drinks are not. Very disappointing experience overall.

Great service, friendly staff. Liam in particular was helpful with guiding my drink selection. It was busy but the staff kept up the pace and kept everyone happy.

I always look forward to visiting this Starbucks because of Annahid! She is incredibly friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcome. I always come to this location and all the baristas are usually very nice and friendly.
However, recently I’ve noticed an issue when I visit in the afternoons to pick up my matcha.
This past Sunday afternoon around 5 PM, I had to wait about 15 minutes for my order because the woman who seemed to be the supervisor was on her phone the whole time and completely ignored me.
I don’t believe this is appropriate customer service, and it can definitely cause you to lose loyal customers.
I also had to repeat my order six times before she understood what I was saying.
I’m sharing this feedback because I truly enjoy coming to this store, and I hope to see the service reflect the usual standard you’ve maintained.

I literally get my morning coffee or during the day drinks here, if this is not every day, it is every other day. I have to mention the service is fast, their menu is complete and fresh. They may run out of certain items fast for the high traffic they have specially during rush hours.
It is a great spot as it is close to everything, park, different banks, grocery etc. The staff are nice but... It is super convenient.
The reason I didn't give them 5 start review is because customer interaction is very important and unfortunately it is not happening in this store. Drinking coffee at the coffee shop is not just drinking coffee it is a culture and I guess Starbucks is losing that culture. I really don't blame the staff as this is more like a management and company training issue.
There are no happy faces most of the time or friendly environment or most of the time no smile! Staffs are working like a machine as they have a heavy loads to take care of, specially in the morning. You say thank you to them most of the time they don't even respond to you or acknowledge your appreciation. If something goes wrong or mistakes happen in your order I personally avoid asking them to fix it as I might not face a good attitude. I personally order on the app and pick up.
Would I go there again? Yes for sure, as it is the only option for Starbucks in west van other than park royal one which is not convenient for me at least. Overall I recommend them, maybe don't expect to face a welcoming attitude specially if you are new to town or even first time at Starbucks. I hope the management read this note.
