No wonder this Starbucks has such poor ratings and reviews.
I also had a really disappointing experience at the Horseshoe Bay location. The cashier named Devin showed a complete lack of basic customer service. No greeting, no eye contact, no communication and an overall dismissive attitude. When I misunderstood his question (he was asking for my name but I thought he asked if there was anything else) and replied “that’s it,” he sarcastically said, “So your name is that’s it?” with a very unpleasant tone, attitude and continued to ignore me even when I tried to clarify.
The supervisor Tisha stepped in and handled the situation professionally, which I really appreciated. But if Devin isn’t new, I truly think he needs to be retrained on proper customer interaction, communication and respect. Starbucks is known for friendly service, but this experience was the total opposite.

Awesome & highly acceptable in terms of gourmet coffee & other edible items of good assortment, Starbucks, situated in Horseshoe bay, B. C., offers the same in an ambience of cleanliness, sanitization, friendliness, inducing buyers in a merry-go-round state, creating an atmosphere of utmost satisfaction, while the restaurant is exposed to a majestic view of BC Ferris, boats, other watercrafts, flying birds, greeneries of mountains - one that creates a harmonizing & refreshing effect to the visitors.

Rude and incompetent staff. Got the wrong order, no receipt and refused to re-serve us. Would recommend Blenz next door instead of this bad Starbucks store. More interested in speed than quality, one of the worse Starbucks I've visited

I went in the morning on August 21 at 5:55am and the middle eastern 40 yr old woman with a thick accent was extremely rude to me when I was ordering. She gave me attitude when I said my drink order and when I wanted to scan my rewards card she ignored me and said “What do you want first” please consider reevaluating her employment with you.

I mobile order weekly while hopping on the ferry and the although the whole staff is friendlier than any other Starbucks I have visited, there seems to be an odd way of prioritizing drinks as I often order 5mins before arriving only to wait after walk-in customers who arrived after me. 10-15min waits last 3 visits
