yep the staff is almost amazingly rude and hostile with the exception of a few unfortunate employees. the food is your average subway quality but portions are meagre to say the least. no real reason to get hoffed and scowled at while paying exorbitant prices for a mediocre sandwich

Worst service by one of the women employees. Walked in to get sandwiches before the beach was met by side eyed looks, should have let the guy make my sandwich that came out from the back, at least he said hi and smiled. The girl that made my sandwich rolled her eyes at me when I asked for extra lettuce. The lady at the till who I assume is the owner said something to her in their language and she stopped.
Went to Haida sandwich up the street the next day. The service by far is 100 percent better

Subway is consistently clean, and the staff are friendly, respectful, and professional. In particular, Sophia stands out as a very kind and highly professional team member who takes cleanliness and customer service seriously. The other staff are also attentive and courteous.
Unfortunately, it seems that some individuals may have personal issues with the staff and have left reviews that do not reflect the reality of this place. Do not go here if you like your food served in hygienic manner. Employees DO NOT change gloves. They touch everything even the register. I watched 5 customers in front of me served with same gloves touching oven, handles, register, etc. I bet they go like this all day. 0 tip deserved and never coming again. I can manage better, this manager should quit and never work in gastronomy ever and neither any if these people working there. Disgusting handling of food. If there is negative rating option here I would be using it

Awful service, the only employee there was sitting in the back on her phone while we waited up front. We ordered a breakfast sub and the eggs were still cold because she took the subs out of the toaster with 25 seconds left on the timer. Wasn’t even warm. Apparently they don’t sell coffee either even though it is clearly on the menu. Waited another 10 minutes trying to get the key to the washroom while the only employee was on her phone in the back again. Wish I could give 0 stars. Go to any other subway in the area there are a bunch!

The Lighthouse
I have only Doordashed from this place. I am pretty certain there has been a management change. Due to very few breakfast options close by. I put up with the very dry hard bread and stale cookies. However, the last two times I got my meals. Fresh bread, food done well and packed well. The cookies are fresh. What a difference Management makes on the exact same store. Wanted to take a min to show my acknowledgement. Good job!
