I usually don’t review a place that I didn’t actually get to try, but since most of the reviews here are old and don’t entirely match the experience I had with the place, I figured I’d leave this to give others an idea of what to expect.
The place is a roadside stand. There are a few tables to the side of the stall, not under cover. The vibey hippie shack that you see in old photos is no longer there.
It’s pretty hard to find, at least if you’re a foot passenger on the ferry. It’s outdoors by the vehicle loading area for Berth 3, which is on the east side of the terminal. From the foot passenger area, I found two ways to get there but both were pretty awkward. They really need to add the location or directions to the signs that they have up all over the terminal; if I hadn’t spent so much time figuring out where to go, I might’ve made it there on time to get something.
The service was really slow. I joined the lineup around 8 am thinking that it would be kind of close but I’d be back in the terminal by 8:15 to catch my 8:35 ferry, and I was holding out even as the minutes ticked by, hoping that the people in front of me might have easy orders, but even things like baked goods and regular coffee were taking a while. When the line got to the two people in front of me and they tried to order two mochas, the barista told them it wouldn’t be ready in time for them to catch the ferry, so I also got out of line at that point. The barista seemed very friendly and I appreciated that he was upfront about the time it would take to prepare the drinks. This kind of service is not a good fit for the ferry terminal, though, where people are on a tight schedule.

Just one person trying to serve 300 ppl!! Coffee average quality and smoothie??? - don’t buy it- it is just juice mixed with milk - disgusting
Regular black coffee was $4.75. Service was rude. Not thrilled with the experience. Felt much more like Bad Karma Cafe.
coffee was tastey, more than I expected for something offered just by the ferry!! service was great and the cinnamon bun hit the spot during the ferry wait. a nice cozy vibe around the industrial and slightly depressing ferry terminal. Would return again :)
A vary bless spot!
The vegan wrap was fine. If you're a hungry vegan with a 2-hour ferry wait, there aren't many other options in the walkable area. I think their pricing takes advantage of this, kind of similar to airport food.
No public washrooms, which violate health codes as they serve good. Staff were beyond rude. They also don’t have a washroom for staff, which again violates health codes. Avoid and go to a different nearby cafe, which there are several.
Horrible coffee. Two shots of espresso were requested in an Americano. Customers have no choice how much cream. The stupid girl put way too much cream in it. All I can taste is cream and sugar. WHERE IS THE COFFEE? The coffee here SUCKS.

Service horrible. Thanks to that didn't get chance to taste anything. It was open, lady was first washroom and than on the phone . After 15 minutes waiting
Infront of the open trailer and nothing. Worst experience. I was leaving 7:45 am . They are supposed to open at 7am.

Brutal service. Great bagel, but smoothie was made with zero care of great ingredients. Love that owner is pushing veggie/vegan, but should hire people that give good karma to their business

Decent coffee, good smoothie and decadent cinnamon bun!
Bought a cup of coffee while waiting for the ferry- it was just the right temperature and not bitter surprisingly.
Got a cinnamon bun too and they warmer it up - so delicious!!
Overall a good stop before boarding the ferry with friendly and efficient staff.
