My mother organized a special event for my dad’s 90th birthday. The modern pantry did the catering. This team was fabulous. The food was excellent. Highlights were the staff and their sensitivity to the needs to the group. They get a 5 star review hands down. We will certainly repeat the experience.

Amazing everything and everyone at this cute and humble place. I tried the iconic grilled cheese sandwich (very unusual, with soft, mild cheese and tomato-based condiment in their own sourdough) and the Morning Bun, which looks like a cinnamon bun but it's not, and it tastes like heaven. Excellent espresso. Wonderfully welcoming staff. I'll stop by any chance I get when in West Van.

This used to be our favourite bakery we’ve been going here for years. But recently they took the prices off all the baked goods. This kind of business practice just feels misleading and it is really disheartening to see. I understand things are getting more expensive but at least be transparent about it. It just feels shady and leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. Can’t recommend it anymore.

The sourdough focaccia was unbelievably delicious. Tried 4 different baked goods and all were amazing, glad we discovered this spot! Staff were also very friendly.

Dine in service great yesterday. Have mobility issues had 2 orders and an exchange. Nothing was a problem.Very busy then . Today ,I ordered and was told by the same server,they yelled at me to pick up the order,but we're too busy to bring it to my table. Spoke to the manager re this issue,he apologized but mentioned how they don't normally serve customers at a table. There were about 6 customers only today total,and double that yesterday. I am not pleased,and will not come here again if I am greeted wuth an inconsistent service attitude. By the Way, I have been in client services for 35 plus years, and nothing is as important as a satisfied client. Do not think that these things are unimportant,we all have to feel important. Good spot otherwise. Will probably not come back.
