We’ve recently tried the macaron’s along with a pistachio chocolate cake and a raspberry cake which were all absolutely delicious!
The “icing on the cake” was the great welcome and customer service we received and we appreciated the recommendations given by the staff.

I absolutely love this coffee shop — the staff, service, and management are consistently excellent, and the drinks are always top quality. It’s my go-to spot every single day to unwind, disconnect from work, and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by kind and friendly people.
That said, I’ve recently noticed a shift that’s a bit concerning. Lately, I’ve seen people using the space as a remote office, working on their laptops for extended periods. Today, for example, I was sitting on the patio when two individuals set up to work, which changed the atmosphere and made it feel more like a co-working space than a relaxing café.
One of the things that has always set this place apart is its unique, calming vibe — a rare find these days. I truly hope the management considers maintaining that by discouraging laptop use, especially in communal or patio areas. There are plenty of cafés around tailored to work-from-home needs, but this one is special because it offers a break from all of that.
Please keep it a sanctuary for relaxation, not another workspace. Sima

Thierry Ambleside is a stylish, upscale dessert and coffee spot perfectly tucked near the beach, offering a beautifully designed interior, a relaxing ocean-side patio, and a dangerously tempting pastry display. The almond croissant looked like a dream, but the filling was a bit too sweet and doughy—more marzipan surprise than almond delight. Still, the pastry itself was excellent, and their chamomile tea was fantastic (yes, I felt very zen). The free sparkling water? Très chic.
Service was fast, and I have to give a special shoutout to Ygor—one of the hardest-working and kindest staff members I noticed, to the point that I actually asked his name just to include him in this review. Stellar service. The washrooms are super clean and surprisingly high-tech (always a bonus when a restroom feels smarter than you). The patio is cozy with heaters, perfect for a fresh-air break.
Extra love for the sweet gesture of giving a complimentary cake to a child—though, I admit, I quietly hoped to be mistaken for one too. Add in the self-serve water station with bubbly options, and you have a café that gets the little details right. I will definitely be back—brunch is calling my name (and maybe a pastry or three).

This is my most favourite coffeeshop and tea house in West Vancouver. They have amazing pastries, coffee, tea and chocolate . I recommend this experience as space and food are pleasant. Ygor is one of the most hard worker and kind staff in Thierry that offers a great customer service. If you are lucky, he makes your Americano or Latte with care.

such a premium cafe, so high end, beautiful simple and elegant decor - I absolutely adore it here? I always get an americano with skim milk and it’s so smooth, such great coffee. The little chocolates are also such a nice treat :) excellent staff, especially Nora who was so fun to chat with and helped me choose the yummiest chocolate by answering all my questions!

I came in for my morning coffee and wanted the apple pie. As it was still early in the morning, it wasn't quite ready yet and was waiting to be cut. Miku was so kind to let me know every step of the way how much longer it would take, and she made a point to catch me to let me know when it was ready.
