I stopped in to pick up a book my daughter left behind a few days earlier. It was pouring out, I had taken the bus, thought I left my wallet on the bus. I had 45 minutes until my ferry … the guy who greeted me at the front door WITHOUT HESITATION asked, “No wallet? Do you need some money?” So yeah. Come here. Eat their great food. Appreciate their customer service. A staple in Horseshoe Bay and absolutely legendary.

Yesterday I went afternoon to take out fish and chips and a bottle water. The waitress she recommended mee the most expensive fish ( which I thought was weird) When I took my package she didn’t put my water bottle and the fries were awful leftover from yesterday I would not recommend this place For the price what I got is very BAD

⭐ 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible Experience
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this restaurant truly earned it. From the moment we walked in, the staff made it clear that customer service is not their priority. First, they tried to stick us at a table shoved into the far corner, away from the windows—even though there were plenty of open spots. When we asked for a different table, the server practically threw the menus onto the table without a word.
Once the food arrived, things somehow got even worse. The portions were ridiculously tiny, especially considering the outrageous prices. To make it worse, the food itself tasted terrible—bland, poorly cooked, and honestly not worth even a fraction of what they charge.
The final straw? After we chose not to leave a tip (for obvious reasons), the employees started whispering, pointing at us, and even laughing behind our backs. Completely unprofessional and downright disrespectful.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Save your money, your time, and your appetite—go literally anywhere else.

Ordered fish and chips which is one of their staples it was mush and greasy the fish itself was of tasting off. I’m not sure if they offer endless fries but the portion I received was tiny. 🤢🤮
