I stopped in to pick up a book my daughter left behind a few days earlier. It was pouring out, I had taken the bus, thought I left my wallet on the bus. I had 45 minutes until my ferry … the guy who greeted me at the front door WITHOUT HESITATION asked, “No wallet? Do you need some money?” So yeah. Come here. Eat their great food. Appreciate their customer service. A staple in Horseshoe Bay and absolutely legendary.
This review was supposed to be back in June but I totally forgot 😅 Honestly, it was one of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was lovely and the service made it even better.

While waiting for the ferry at Horseshoe Bay, we decided to stop in at Trolls. The place was busy, but we were seated fairly quickly, and from that moment on, the service absolutely stood out.
