Is it expensive- yes. Is it worth it -mostly yes.
Somehow the staff always remembers me throughout the millions of customers that come through, the burrito bar is an ESSENTIAL food place in this area and the whole city. Same with the top tier hot food bar, with chicken tikka masala, brown & white rice, vegan & vegetarian selections, tomato slow cooked chicken thigh meat, and not to mention the pizza here is better than any place I’d EVER been. Seriously I take offense to most pizza places but this place revived my love for pizza - I recommend the bbq chicken one. And don’t get me started on the salad bar with unique dressings like avocado vinaigrette - SOOOO SCRUMPTIOUS!!! I love this place!
$$$ prices jacked up to the max identical to everywhere else, as if all grocery stores fixed the prices to deprive customers of choice in order to maximize corporate profits.
Great Cake, But Disappointing Fruits from the Market
The quality of the cake itself was excellent — soft, moist, and full of flavor. I was really pleased with the texture and overall freshness of the cake.
However, the fruits I received from the whole food market were extremely disappointing. They were not fresh at all and completely ruined the experience. I actually had to return them because they were in such poor condition.
If the whole food market could improve the quality of their fruits, this would be a near-perfect combination. Until then, I recommend enjoying the cake on its own or with fruits from a more reliable source.
Good quality, friendly service
This location is the best whole foods in town in my opinion. Huge store, clean, has lots of fresh produce and other products. It is just more pleasant to shop here than other WFM locations in metro Vancouver.
This is my favorite supermarket. In Kansai, it's like Ikari Super, where the cashiers put things in bags, double-layer paper bags, and are very polite and kind.
The chicken thighs are new and the prices are the same as other supermarkets. At the deli, take a numbered ticket and wait.
It's not that big, so the selection may be small.
The eco bags cost $10 and come in three colors: black, pink, and green.
This saddened me .. over the over priced groceries everywhere. I thought I was forking up money for quality. I have to eat quality red meat due to health reasons. I come here to get them. The organic grass fed ground beef was nice and red.. opened it and it was completely brown inside. Today I take out my organic grass-fed sirloin steak.. one piece $19. Was shiny and red. A lil too much. Patted it dry and pulled the fat from the side and it was brown inside since the blood added to old meat didn't colour it to make it look fresh. SHAME IN YOU!!!! Money hungry capitalist is sickening.
Please bring back a Christmas cookie dough! 🍪🎄🎅🏻🙏
The muffins are horrible now and it’s so sad. They used to be the best in the city and now the recipes are totally different, they are smaller and lack flavour. Please bring back the originals.

A good store just a little expensive
Whole Foods is my go-to grocery store for quality organic produce and specialty items. The selection of organic fruits, vegetables, and fresh meats is top-notch, and the aisles are always stocked with healthy options. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you find what you’re looking for. Plus, I love the fresh seafood section – everything is so fresh!
