We usually go to Sushi Q but they were closed so ordered from here. Picked up our food then when we opened at home they had crammed everything in to one container. A couple of the rolls we’re indistinguishable. Must not be a real sushi chef. Food was fresh but what can I say. We eat a lot of sushi at different places but this will not be one we return to.
Best place for japanese food. Very generous portion and reasonable price. Friendly staffs. Always enjoy
Picked up order for takeout. Excellent meal and hot food still hot when got it home. Favorite Japanese restaurant. Great friendly staff.??
I went for lunch and got the sushi and sashimi lunchbox. The fish was off! At first I thought it was just the tuna, but the salmon was also very ‘fishy’ as well as a white fish. I obviously didn’t eat anymore after this discovery. I mentioned it to the server and she came back to tell me they could offer me more food. Ummm no thanks! I wasn’t looking for a handout, but I clearly did not eat half the meal and the solution was to give me more bad fish. I’m really hoping I don’t get sick, but regardless I definitely won’t be back!
Great little place in West Kelowna. Service was great. Had the sashimi and sushi dinner box with a good miso soup. Very delicious and nice variety. Also had the green tea. Can’t believe I waited. Two years to return to this place as it is just down the street.
This is our go-to Sushi place in Westbank. To be fair it's only 5 blocks away, but there are two others even closer and two others just a few blocks beyond. In fact I think there are more Japanese restaurants between downtown Westbank and Kelly O's, than there are Japanese people in the entire valley! This restaurant is very quiet and intimate and rarely very busy, which is a shame, as it's always so good. Service very good and super friendly. And the food is excellent. Always fresh, never "fishy" and they are accommodating to my shellfish allergies when making combos for me. Wine and beer selections are tiny, but they have a basic Gewurtztraminer that goes with ginger and wasabi swimmingly. The tuna is of particular note as possibly the sweetest and tenderest in town. The miso is always good and the small starter salad is excellent and has no comparable. To sum up: we always order way too much, saying out loud, "well if we can't eat it all, we can always take it home." The only way it's ever come home was in our overfed bellies. The atmosphere is excellent for a semi-romantic dinner.
Repeat customer when I visit the area.. always quick courteous service, delicious food, lovely presentation.
