Great fish and chips! Atmosphere was amazing and even though they were out of my classic choice for bubble tea the one they recommended might be a new favourite. Service was fast as well.

My insider tip: the salmon paté- so gooood! Adorable little shop. The only place in town where I can get home made fish stock for cooking. Best fish&chips (halibut) in years. IT DOES NOT SMELL LIKE FISH in there. That is the ultimate proof of freshness and cleanliness. Great shop.

We have used Buy The Sea many times in the past, best Fish and Chips! BUT, called to place an order....what a farce, could not understand the operator, 3 times tried to explain a simple order of 2 meals! Went to pick order up, only 1 meal was ready, was told another meal would be done right away....Waited for 10 minutes, finally ready. On the way home opened the top meal.......STONE COLD!!. So, the original meal was just put to the side while the other was being prepared.....Seriously......Re-Do the WHOLE order. For just under $38 WILL NOT BE BACK!

This used to be the best fish and chips in the valley. I suspect this business has been sold. Over fried previously frozen cod with over fried chips. Coleslaw was good though. We always travelled over from Kelowna when we had the fish and chip (or prawns and chip) craving. So disappointed. Will not be back.

Just drive by the sea. Horrible smoked salmon. It used to be what I would drive across the city for, not anymore. Store bought, soaked in fake smoke taste and mushy. Two staff members lied to me and said it was still coming from the mainland, BS. Better off shopping at the grocery store. So disappointed, miss the old owner. He actually cared about fresh products.
The food here is excellent especially the chowder this is my first time ordering from here, but I plan on making this my go-to place for fish and chips and the chowder!

Always the BEST fish & chips in town. Fresh, not fishy or greasy and delicious!!Their fresh & frozen section is also well stocked and always superb. I discovered this spot when I was living in Rose Valley, and have since moved near the airport - but it is worth the drive! I cannot recommend Buy The Sea enough & love to bring friends & family here when they visit from out of town.
