“Tasty meals made of fresh ingredients carefully prepared by well trained chefs is what you can expect from Sakura Sushi. It’s literally the best food I’ve had served to me in the city in over 16 years. I tried the yam and shrimp tempura - perfectly cooked in fresh oil, pan fried gyoza (dumplings) the best I’ve had since being in Vancouver’s China Town and Beef Bulgogi which rivaled my favorite restaurant in New York. I look forward to eating there in person in the future once COVID restrictions are reduced. In the mean time I’ll settle for delicious take out!”

“The women working here were very friendly. Burgers were delicious and filling. A couple of bucks more expensive than other decent burger spots. There is one table inside and a picnic table outside.”

“A friend and I went there today for lunch. It was a really great experience. Friendly staff and a great homestyle menu, even a seniors menu. Senior portions seem to have disappeared. The food was really good! My friend had the homemade chicken strips with homecut French fries and she said they were the best she has had. I had the liver and onions. I know but some of us still enjoy it occasionally and it is definitely a meal you no longer see. It was cooked perfectly and if you like liver....it was so good! I will definitely be back and highly recommend supporting this great local restaurant.”
