Hopkins Harvest has become a staple in our weekly routine.
We do most of our grocery shopping here, and it’s one of those rare places where you can feel the care in everything—from the products on the shelves to the food coming out of the kitchen.
The in-house prepared and frozen meals have been a game changer for us. When life gets busy (which is often), knowing we’ve got things like their tuna pot pies or salmon pinwheels ready to go has saved us from far too many takeout nights. And they’re not just convenient—they’re genuinely excellent.
And then there’s the wood-fired pizza… easily some of the best in the valley.
What really sets Hopkins apart, though, is the people. Matt, Kersten, and the entire team are incredibly warm, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they’ve built. It shows in every interaction.
This place isn’t just a market or a café—it’s a cornerstone of the community. We’re lucky to have it.
Love this little place
Great spot, they’re definitely doing it right. We were here from Calgary for the weekend and went here twice to grab fruit and sandwiches. Really wanted to try the pizza, but the pizza chef wasn’t in, hopefully 🤞 this summer when we’re back it’ll be fired up.
A must-stop in Windermere
The moment I stepped through the door at Hopkins Harvest, I was instantly transported back to my childhood growing up in the Okanagan on my parents’ orchard and vineyard. That fresh, vibrant, just-picked scent — it truly felt like home.
The produce here is spectacular. Everything is bright, flavourful, and exactly how real food should taste.
What I love most is how committed they are to supporting local growers and makers. You can feel good about every purchase because it directly supports the community.
Whether you’re stopping in for fresh produce or popping next door to their restaurant for something delicious, Hopkins Harvest is absolutely worth the visit. A true Columbia Valley gem.
Lovely place and great coffee!
Fantastic place! I wish we had found it sooner
stopped in the day before cellar to harvest week started and was told to come on the Sunday meet the owners and deals on cash only case lot sales, got there for the happy hour and band, inquired about the sale and was told it happened earlier in the week, the drink shack said there was deals on pizza at 4, at 4 the pizza counter said no deals on, only regular price but happy hour on drinks staff seem ill informed on the happenings there left disappointed, bought nothing, also drove 25 minutes to get there
Stopped in here on our road trip back from Kimberley with our newborn, they were so lovely and gifted us a basket of berries as congratulations for our new bundle of joy! We were purchasing some jerky and grapes and we ended up picking blackberries, everything was delicious!! Will definitely be stopping in again during any BC road trips! Thanks so much 😊😊
Gals at the coffee station were very friendly and the snacks were good! A star off for the lady running the register being quite rude. Otherwise a nice place to stop by
This is a great place to visit in the Columbia Valley. They truly understand how to make wood fired brick oven pizzas. D Dutchmen Dairy ice cream and milk from Sicamous are also available. And in the summer when fruit and veg production is in full swing they have a great selection.
Restaurantji Recommends
Best sandwiches ever!! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture cause I demolished it, couldn’t stop eating. Not even a crumb left. Salami, goat cheese, caramelized onions, homemade bread, every bite was amazing!!! And Mango Lassi, sooooooo gooood!! YUM!!!! 😋
Highly recommend this place!!! Great family owned business that’s supports local.
