Little Caesars Celebrates 65 Years with Major Expansion Plans

As Little Caesars celebrates its 65th anniversary, the world's third-largest pizza chain is making big moves. By the end of 2024, 23 new restaurants will pop up in major markets like Dallas, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Charlotte, Albuquerque, Brooklyn and Baltimore.

Earlier this year Little Caesars announced to bring 30 new restaurants to seven states.

"Over the past few years, we've taken steps to continue to meet the demands and preferences of franchisees and guests alike," said Patrick Cunningham, VP of U.S. Development at Little Caesars. "As we celebrate our 65th anniversary, we're thrilled to see our franchisees' hard work come to fruition. With several new deals and grand openings on the way, we're excited about the future of Little Caesars.”

A big slice of the action goes to the Northeast, where Suhel Ahmed and Saurabh Desai, two seasoned restaurateurs with over 40 years of combined experience, plan to open 10 new spots in NYC by 2026.

Meanwhile, Kiren Patel and his team at Sagacity Ventures acquired more than 30 Little Caesars restaurants across the region, and plan to open more locations in Baltimore. The group wants to expand to 50 Little Caesars across Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

"Pizza is a staple in America, and the quality that Little Caesars delivers when it comes to freshness, value and convenience is unmatched," said Patel. "The support and resources Little Caesars provides its franchisees made it an easy decision for us to become franchisees."

Just like Experiential Brands (The Original Hot Chicken, Flametown Burgers, INKED Tacos, etc.), In 2024, Little Caesars is pushing into non-traditional markets like college campuses, casinos, airports, and more.
