A very pleasant wine tasting experience! Our server gave us his full attention, was knowledgeable about the wines and the winery’s production methods. He was generous with the selection of pours, and we enjoyed all the wines!

One of the most enjoyable tasting experiences I’ve ever had. We felt super welcomed from the moment we stepped into the room. Troy gave us an impromptu tasting class (we mentioned we were novices to wine). The cherry on top was that the wine was fantastic! We loved the Zin and Big Red Blend. They’re also very dog friendly. I can’t recommend this winery enough !

After a week of wine tasting in the region, Troy brought it all home. He was knowledgeable, intuitive, and was very disarming. While he said he wasn't a sommelier, he certainly knew everything about wine from the region. Fields Winery is our new favourite.

The wine is great. No, not "the wine is great" but truly, actually, seriously: Excellent. There's so much wine out there, but I'll always stock some. The syrah/mourvedre walks a line between new world up front and old world finish. Troy is also a reason to stop. Funniest deadpan humor I've encountered in forever. Great experience, great place.

My wife and I chose to visit this singular vineyard in Lodi on our trip to California. We are so happy we did. Troy was an absolute delight to have as our guide, humorous and informative. And the wines were unique-delicate and subtle. Their signature Syrah is the best Syrah I can remember ever having. Seeing how a boutique winery works was a joy and I felt like I got to understand the growing and harvesting process as well as appreciate the subtleties of smaller wines in a very unique region
