Small winery, great wine. My particular favorite was the Petit Sirah.
We had a terrific time tasting wines at Fields Family Wines. They craft a wide variety of small lot wines. Troy guided our tastings with wit and knowledge. Lodi wines are really some of my favorites.
“A&T Team” were awesome! Troy was so entertaining! So much fun! They were both welcoming and informative! Would highly recommend a visit for your wine tasting tours!
Fields Family Wines is a must-visit winery in the Lodi area. Delicious wine and amazing personable staff.
The wine is great.
No, not "the wine is great" but truly, actually, seriously: Excellent. There's so much wine out there, but I'll always stock some. The syrah/mourvedre walks a line between new world up front and old world finish.
Troy is also a reason to stop. Funniest deadpan humor I've encountered in forever. Great experience, great place.
My wife and I chose to visit this singular vineyard in Lodi on our trip to California. We are so happy we did. Troy was an absolute delight to have as our guide, humorous and informative. And the wines were unique-delicate and subtle. Their signature Syrah is the best Syrah I can remember ever having. Seeing how a boutique winery works was a joy and I felt like I got to understand the growing and harvesting process as well as appreciate the subtleties of smaller wines in a very unique region
We love this place!! Brilliant for the wine enthusiasts or new winos. It’s pet friendly! And they really do an amazing job of giving you top notch service while walking you through the tasting flight. Their blends are fab, the Sangiovese is delish, and the Syrah is chefs kiss. BEST STOP OF THE DAY! Troy made our experience so much fun. We really enjoyed seeing a "working winery" and learning about the process from start to finish. Very excited to come back for the July wine and food pairing and plan to attend a grape smash as well! It was our last stop of the day, we were tired and didn't plan on going in, but Troy waved us down and I am so glad he did. Never liked a red until Fields Family. Seriously- THE BEST STOP of the day! Can't recommend enough - Don't miss it!
Troy made our day in Lodi! We tried more than 8 wines and enjoyed the chat with him. The laidback wine tasting is much funnier than Napa’s.

Great wine and enjoy Michael sharing his stories and knowledge about wine
Troy was awesome! Very informative, too. We enjoyed our tastings and banter w Troy. Wine were great too!
Hats off to Troy and Keely for the most fun wine tasting ever!!! This place is legit, and they make wines the good ol' fashioned way. Really a gem.
Where shall I start? Great wine, great prices, entertaining staff (shout out to Troy), and very relaxing location. We will be back.
So we stopped in to Fields several years ago and had a good experience but hadn't been back. Fields came highly recommended by a few other tasting rooms this year and we decided to give it another shot.We parked out front and were soon greeted by Troy and Keely, two of the most delightful, most educational, most hilarious wine adventure guides a couple could ask for. After sampling this year's syrah and Lambrusco grapes straight from the vine, we went on a wine epic through whites and reds and NC-17 unique blends with laughs abound.100% will visit again.
