The vegan meatloaf with loaded baked potato. Is fantastic. Also, the vegan pull pork sandwich is very good. Lots of vegan options

Went with friends and had a great conversation with Larry the owner and very tasty food. I had the elk sausage with fries and the other meal that I remember was a steak salad.. Very tasty and satisfying.

If your salmon smells fishy, it’s NOT fresh! The onion rings were so thick with batter that they were raw in the middle. And everything was bland. Even the corn fritter batter needed salt. Too bad because the service was excellent and the place seemed fun.

I loved the ambience at The 49er Saloon. Cecilia & Larry were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s a spot with real character and heart. Looking forward to visiting again!

I’ve lived in Acton for 7 years and haven’t been to the 49ers Saloon in 15 years. But I really liked their food and it was nice they had a full menu for vegans. I had the mozzarella sticks and chili cheese fry’s. They were so good!
I remember being taken here in 1993 with my 6th grade teacher Mrs. Hunter at Acton Elementary School for winning some scholastic honor that I honestly don’t remember what it was for. But I’m glad to see that a long lasting Acton staple is still running strong. And would highly recommend their establishment. As my mother recently dined here and told me and my siblings that it’s still a establishment with great character, charm and great food.
