The horchata and Jamaica are one of the best I've had! The queso birria taco with consomme were excellent! My mom had torta de birria and the cameron's al mojo de ajo. She enjoyed both dishes but said the torta was one of the best she had. We will be coming back. Great find!!!
I love this place! They have one of the most authentic, delicious, spicy, Cajun, southern food I have ever had in California. I've tried their fried chicken, they're catfish, hush puppies and they are beyond delicious. I would highly recommend folks to try this place out. They are definitely no Popeyes but I think they are better than Popeyes.
The fried chicken here is superb, I don't think you can do better at home. I came in when there were no other customers and no chicken holding under the warming lamp so they started making my order fresh, which is a very good sign. They also started the other customer's orders as they came in, which takes 15 minutes. French fries are crispy and well done. Dirty rice is a little spicy. Mac n cheese is ok.
