Szechuan Place

Food is amazing. So yummy. Very different from other Chinese restaurants. Very tasty and not at all greasy. We had sweet and sour chicken as well as Kung Pao tofu and the vegetable fried rice. Highly recommend. Will drive from Santa Barbara to here. The food is that good. Everyone was super friendly. They constantly checked on us to make sure we were doing okay.We noticed they do a lot of take out orders. So busy. Yet they were still very attentive to us.I will be back!! Just ordered some food for delivery... it arrived with no chopsticks no soy sauce no mustard no napkins no fortune cookie no crispy noodles... nothing except the two entrees I ordered, which were pretty good, to be honest. The honey walnut shrimp is interesting in that it is more savory than sweet; that was unexpected. And I've never had lamb lo mein before; that was really very nice. Would have been better with some soy sauce and hot sauce though, I think.

Wow, wow, wow! AMAZING food! They serve Chinese and Indian as well as Chinese Indian fusion. I walked past this place and the smells drew me in! Thank goodness I did!! The waitress was so kind and recommended many new things for us to try. The entire staff were kind, personable and friendly! Hidden gem for sure!!!
