On November 4th around 7:00 PM, I stopped by the El Pollo Loco in Agoura Hills to pick up some grilled chicken. I usually go through the drive-thru since I order family meals to take home, but this time I decided to go inside and I’m glad I did! It gave me the opportunity to meet some of the best employees any business could hope to have.

Right away, I noticed a young lady named Audrey at the front counter. She was moving quickly and efficiently, helping both in-store and online customers with a great attitude. Even though she was busy, she took a moment to acknowledge me with a friendly “I’ll be right with you,” which made a great first impression.
When it was my turn, she kindly guided me through placing my order on the large self-order screen and made sure everything was correct. While waiting, I observed how well the entire team worked together. Everyone was focused, fast, and clearly took pride in what they were doing.
Because I had a small customization to my order, the Grill Chef personally came to the counter to double-check it, ensuring everything was just right. That level of attention and teamwork really stood out to me.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize this outstanding crew and their excellent service. I hope this message reaches the El Pollo Loco leadership team and CEO, because this location truly represents your brand at its best. Great job, Agoura Hills team!

This place is so understaffed.. avoid it at all cost.. employee just ignore u .. it takes more than 10 mins just to get ur order.. everyone is rude.. definitely a place to avoid

Soggy brown lettuce, no pollo, barely any rice or beans and they didn't seem to care. Maybe it was a bad day here, but should have hit McDonalds instead!

Employees are absolutely clueless and management if appalling.
Trying to order something at the kiosks takes a minimum of 20 minutes and they are never correct and don’t read coupon QR codes.
Then the manager makes you feel like you are a fool and doing it all wrong until she tries and has the same problems!!
It’s just not worth the time and effort to go to Pollo Loco any more. It’s a shame because the food is not bad. It’s just the ordering kiosks and the management that is terrible.
I’ve been a very long time customer but today was the final straw. No more. Burger King, Taco Bell, and McDonalds and Jack in the Box are all right next to it so go elsewhere.
What a shame, this management has driven this place into the ground.

Disappointed. Asked for a chicken queso burrito with no pico… There was no queso in the burrito and pico was added. I went in around 9pm after class, if there was no queso I would’ve ordered something else.

Probably the most unfriendly staff I’ve encountered. The people at the drive thru were possibly the most unfriendly people I’ve ever encountered at a drive thru. The woman covered in tattoos at the checkout counter didn’t say a word to me, didn’t smile and failed to correctly operate the credit card terminal to take my Apple Pay payment. The woman who took my order wasn’t much better either. I visited 08-07-2025 at approx 12:20pm during lunch time.
