Food was about average. The fries were actually very delicious! I ordered the truffle fries, and to give you an idea of what the taste is like. I would have to compare it to an elote (street corn on the cob). So I enjoyed it very much!The burger on the other hand, we requested it cut down the middle and shared half and half with my partner. The patty was a bit flavorless.The waiter was on point! Checking in often but not to the point where it was enjoyable and overwhelming but I would come again to try something else. Especially to reorder those fries!Give it a shot and enjoy!

Worst meal and service. Better service at McDonald's. The food sucked, the burger was dry and over cooked, fries were cold, dry and hard. The bar staff were not attentive to the customers. They didn't ask if we needed another drink or anything at all. We noticed all of them huddled in a corner hiding. We also were traumatized by 1 of the female staff attempting to "twerk" at the bar. (Small white girl with blonde hair) this was NOT OK. Next time I'll just go to Habit or Jack for a burger.

Probably the worst diner style food I've ever had. On the upside though the wait staff was very friendly and waitresses were super hot ? . Probably bet suited for happy hour and appetizers

I came in to pickup our takeout order. The burgers at Islands are consistently good. Still my go to place when my family is in the mood for: Hula Maui Hawaiian Cut fries Sweet potato fries The quality is good and the portion is generous.

What a disappointment. The man who greated me first was kind. I sat at the bar and Dustin was the tender. He tended to someone who sat after me, finally he asked me what I would like to drink. After bringing me my drink he didn't take my order, I had to flag him down. Ordered "the wedge" and wings. I have heartburn. I told Dustin I would like to close my tab after I got my food. Again I had to flag him down. There was a group of about 4 of them just standing behind a sign. Not Good service at all. Only good was the beer. Will not go back (read Google review, it has more info) Kayla I rather not have anything further to do with this establishment as it was horrible all around. The food and service were so bad I can not fathom the idea of even returning for a "make up" meal

I don't know if it was this particular day we went or just this particular location...but the Yaki tacos was horrible. Very little ingredients and little sauce/flavor. It's too bad too because it used to be my favorite lunch item. Tortilla soup is still awesome though.

Came here on a Thursday around 11:45 am for lunch with some coworkers. We beat the lunch rush that comes around noon. We ordered the cheddar fries for the table and I ordered the patty melt from the lunch menu ($9.99) and substituted the fries that come with it with a small chicken tortilla soup. They had excellent lunch deals. The fries came out first and had plenty of cheese and green onions. They were so crispy and remained crispy throughout the meal. We got sides of ranch to dip them in as well, the ranch was very runny but yummy. The chicken tortilla soup had bits of avocado which I appreciated, and some strips of tortilla as garnish. Also came with some tortilla chips on the side. It was a flavorful hearty soup and I ended up crushing the extra tortilla chips and putting them in the soup. The patty melt was pretty good also. Very meaty because it comes with two patties and only comes with caramelized onions. It was good but too heavy for me. Overall, nothing super special but a good option for a work lunch and cheap lunch prices!

I hadn’t eaten at islands for years, but I remembered their burgers being big and juicy, so I decided to try them again, takeout. Burger was much smaller than the burgers i had at islands several years ago, and my fries were cold. Not worth $17.39?

Decided to have lunch today and received nothing that I ordered correctly. They were overstaffed and still took way too long to serve. My wife ordered a lettuce wrap Hula burger and only got meat and lettuce as well as was charged for the mushrooms that supposed to come on it. Clearly they don't understand what lettuce wrapped is as she got no toppings.. The meat was still raw in the middle on both burgers and we had to wait over an hour just to receive two meals. In conclusion if you plan to eat there check their work and expect to wait long period of time to receive your food. As well as check your receipt to make sure you're not overcharged for what is already supposed to come on your food. Do I recommend this restaurant, now I don't.

My parents and I love it here, but we did not have a good experience last night (7/12/2022). As the young male host was bringing us to our table, he coughed. He started coughing again before we even made it to our table and my family and I turned around and walked out. Nobody should be going to work sick, especially if you work at a restaurant and everyone should know better by now with everything we've learned from COVID. It's one thing to be coughing from allergies or a tickle in your throat, but a deep, productive-sounding cough is a different story. It will probably be a while before we return.

This would be the 2nd time I've come to this place for dinner. 1st time was about 11 yrs ago and it was a disaster. I had a feeling service was going to be slow since it took 25mins to sit us and i noticed an entire section empty (about 10 tables). Waitress was better than before but they have some serious staffing issues, especially the kitchen. Waited over an hr for food and one order came out about 15mins before anything else. Waitress apologized multiple times for the long wait for food. The food was ok but definitely didn't justify the price. I would not recommend if you're looking to have dinner in under 2.5hrs. If you're dying for a burger then try the in and out instead.
